This modern cottage is part of Piesta Kuusikaru farm, our family home, set on the bank of Pärnu river in Soomaa region in western/central Estonia. The cottage is a bright and spacious 2-storey building, designed in nordic style, with wood-burning sauna. Perfect for one family or close friends; ideal for 2 persons, fine for 4 plus an infant sleeping in baby cot. We live onsite and will be happy to show you around the farm including organic apple orchard and the "slow food" production facility.

Wake up to bird songs, make the most of the sun and sounds of nature whilst remaining close to the city. The bus stop is 5 min away and a large grocery store around 10 min by foot. Drive to the city centre takes 15 min by car, 25 min by bus. Parking is free at the property alongside a 220W socket. Access to the sauna at any time. The guest house has all necessary amenieties to enjoy a peaceful stay to unwind and get away from the hussle of the city. Enjoy the river, forests and nearby lakes.

Rooms are warm and the floors are heated, so you don`t have to worry about cold feet in winter. You are welcome to take a bubble bath in cozy outdoor hot tub.

🏡 Welcome to Saueaugu Guesthouse – open year-round! The house is tastefully renovated in a contemporary rustic style. The guesthouse offers peaceful views of open fields and a small forest. Our farm is home to Nordic sled dogs – guests may meet them or join guided hikes for an additional fee, and enjoy sled rides during the snowy winter season. The barn is built in 1892 and the bedroom still carries its historic feel with the hand cut lodges and many well preserved details like the original ceiling. Most of the materials are re-used, which adds to the feeling of the space. A grand romantic view over the fields will give a feeling of remoteness and escaping everyday.
