Our house is nestled amongst swaying palms in a sleepy, safe village just a few minutes walk from the beach. We are close to local shops, food stands and the stops for local transport into town. From June to August, join for turtle hatchings, September for humpback whales and October to February for the mighty whale sharks! Or pop over anytime of the year for island adventuring and the best scuba diving in East Africa!

Mango Suite

Ocean front with seaview from the bed and balcony. It is quiet and real with very few tourist around. Mornings can be spent with breakfast on your balcony or on the beach observing the fishermen slowly paddling by on their way out for work. Breakfast with tea and coffee is included and every day we prepare lunch and dinner based on what is available in the village and what the fishermen bring us. We have 1 cat and 2 dogs- all very loveable. There is electricity and clean water.

Mafia Island Bungalows

A quiet place only 15 minutes walking from Utende beach and 20 minutes driving from the airport. We have bikes for free so you can reach the beach in 10 minutes. The bungalows has 1 double bed and 1 single bed, and bathroom with hot water. Each bungalow can host up to 3 adults. If you are more, you will get two separetaly bungalows. The garden has a lot of flowers, fruits and a terrace where you can relax. Free Strong WIFI.
