our stay was simply amazing which had a perfect combination of serenity, isolation amidst a very well trained, warm and organised staff. the food is simply amazing and the host Tanuja is a perfect blend of a great person , a guide who knows inside out of the things around. overall a very fruitful stay.

This is a awesome place. Came here with wife to celebrate our 1st engagement anniversary. Had a great experience. The location,view and service are incredible. Staff is so good n friendly. They will try every possible thing to make you stay happy n good. Food is awesome. Should definitely try. Breakfast is so filling and good. Snacks also there. Lunch dinner paid. Property is 3km away from Pangoot and road is not built but thats make the property more interesting in my view. Carrom badminton bonfire tracking is addon. You can roam near by villages for good valley view. Coming with group if ppl would be awesome experience. As the property is little away from the neighborhood so If you need anything from outside you can ask staff to arrange (Anything).

This is a lovely place to stay if you are looking to trek in and around Chakrata. The hosts are a kind, gentle couple who took special care in showing us around the place even going as far as to plan our entire trek to Devban. Accomodation is bare minimum in terms of amenities but the hosts do as best as they can to make you feel comfortable . Perfect place to stay if your primary interest is to trek.

Beautiful location amidst the tall pines trees and apple orchard.jagat ji is a great host. It felt like home. It is located 22km from chakrata in a down valley. One can stay in tent/room or in cottages made.very peaceful place to relax .there are few trails nearby the stay for those looking for some adventure.

My friend and I visited Tanuja’s bnb for my birthday. Everything was spot on - from the beautiful setup to cozy arrangements, and delicious food. There were snacks in the room that we got refilled because they were so yum! Tanuja took us around the forest for a walk and shared so many interesting facts about Shitlakhet. We also tried wild berries along the way and spoke about how they keep the forest healthy & happy. Chandan ji and Prem were always just a call away. It was raining quite heavily while we were there but they ensured we got all our meals on time & we couldn’t be more grateful. They took really good care of us and we came back to our corporate lives quite relaxed but already wanting to go back. Also, if Elsa walks to your porch, your trip is made. 11/10 recommend!

My stay at Happy Riverside Camps highly exceeded my expectations in all possible aspects. Their location is phenomenal for those who want a peaceful getaway without the headaches of modern cities. However, they still provide more than basic amenities to ensure you're still comfortable and don't miss the city too much. All this adds to the raw awe of waking up to the glorious view of the valley every morning. To top it all off, they also have a cafe on site that serves scrumptious food, regardless of what you would like to eat. They have an excellent Indian and Italian menu, with a coffee selection that puts certain batista chains to shame. The host and staff were also very pleasant and helped me have an incredible experience during my stay at the campsite. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering staying there.

Nice place to stay,peaceful and very relaxing but they didn’t gave us tent with attached washroom as shown in the pictures rather than this the stay was very good

We really enjoyed the time we could spend on this wonderful camping in Dhanolti. The view on the snowmountains is amazing, the staff cooked incredible good food and Chai for us and the energy in this place is simply unique. We were allowed to make our own fire, practised yoga and did little walks. The camping is little bit outside of Dhanolti, but Amit gave us good instructions how to find it and we really appreciated it wasn't in the village itself so that we could enjoy the quietness after Rishikesh. I would definitely stay here again!

It’s really overwhelmingly good to have chosen this place for the stay . Not only it added memorable moments for us due to soothing and breathtaking view right outside our camp but also it made us feel amazing as Sameer and his caretaker Pooran provided us home like atmosphere. At night , while we lost our way to the camp, he rushed for the help on one call. This was truly the best service one can provide. Hoping to have more stays here ! Only cons : not suitable for elders as it is a trekking walk from the Mall Road . :)

Great place and relatively untouched by a stream of tourists so far! Mayank is a eager and sincere host ! On a clear day, you can get a great view of the snow clad peaks from the campsite ! It's a eco-friendly campsite, so dont expect the trappings of a hotel. Get your own personal toileteries and towels. Pets are welcome and have enough space to run around ,so all you petowners can mark it in your diaries !

It was my second visit to Uttarakhand after a long time. But all the experiences I had there, felt like for the first time! Thanks Jagmohan and his entire team for making my stay wonderful and blissful :) 🙏🌻

Great location! Set in a very picturesque location in and around apple orchards. The hosts are always there to help and find a solution. Thanks to Sandeep and Devender for their great hospitality! The camps are set in a quite and peaceful region where tourism has not been commercialized much hence you would see the roads are not in their perfect condition. Traveling by a car with a good ground clearance is recommended, although I was able to complete my trip in a hatchback with minor damages. PS: their food is amazing! Had a great time during breakfast and dinner buffets and they can also light a bonfire on request.

Had a lovely stay at The Foliage over the long weekend. The location in Sunkiya village is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful hills—perfect for a quiet getaway. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped. What made it truly special was the warmth and hospitality. The host was incredibly kind, always checking in to ensure we were comfortable. She even arranged a bonfire, which brought all the guests together—felt like hanging out with old friends by the end. Gopal, the cook and caretaker, was equally sweet and made delicious meals throughout. It felt less like a stay and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. Highly recommended—and I’d definitely love to visit again.

The host was very welcoming for us and accomodating of any special requests we made. The camp was located in a quiet locale just outside of Nainital which is perfect for group travellers seeking a quiet place to relax as well as proximity to the city of Nainital. Campfire facilities provided at the camp were especially enjoyable. all basic amenities such as bedsheets, pillows, extension boards for charging devices were provided by the host free of charge. I highly recommend this stay for travellers seeking a beautiful camping and vacationing experience.
