Seaside cottage

The seaside cottage is by the sea. The view is really nice as it looks at the sea all the way to the horizon. You can go for nice walks or swimming. Perhaps in the winter on a walk on the ice. Perfect spot if you have your fishing gear with you, or a canoe or SUP-board. The cottage works well for family, couples or just traveling alone. The place is also fine with small pets that do not shed. A sauna and reasonable amount of wood free of charge to warm up the sauna and smoker +fireplace outside.

Kettula is a renovated lakeside property on the shores of Oksjärvi, about 55 minutes from Helsinki. This spacious cottage sits on a large lawn with a private sandy beach, pier, and a terrace with a 9-person jacuzzi. Indoors, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms, a bright living area with a fireplace, and a kitchen with modern appliances. A separate sauna building with panoramic lake views adds a special touch. Local cafes, walking trails, and small museums are within easy reach.

Beautiful cottage by the sea

The cabin is 20km from Helsinki city center. The bus stop to Helsinki is 500m from the cabin. It is located next to the sea and has its own dock from where you can fish or take a dip into the sea. There is a sofa bed, a fireplace and a small kitchen, smart tv and wifi, a wood burning sauna and a loft with a double bed. Toaster, coffee brewer, Nespresso machine, a rowing boat and microwave is also available. The cottage is 27 sqm so it is best suited for one or two persons.

In the forests surrounding the cottage, you can hike, pick mushrooms and berries, and the scenic Lake Gölen is a kilometer away. The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-heated traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.

Charming, renovated side apartment/ guest house. The property is located in the yard of our home, but guests have their own peace and privacy. The proximity of the lake, Hvitträsk Museum, outdoor activities and a short distance to e.g. Porkkalanniemi, Meiko Nature Reserve, Linlo's outdoor area and Helsinki make the place special. Mökki sijaitsee Nuuksion kansallispuistossa kauniilla mäntyjä kasvavalla rinteellä, puhdasvetisen Ruuhilammen rannalla. Vihdin Gofkentälle ja Puuhaparkkiin on matkaa 11 km. Hirsinen päämökki on rakennettu 1950-luvulla. Uudempi pienempi hirsimökki on rakennettu 2012. Tunnelmaltaan molemmat ovat nostalgiset. Rannalla sijaitsee vuonna 1958 valmistunut puulämmitteinen, Reima Pietilän suunnittelema sauna.
