Our guesthouse is located in one of the garden pavilions of the villa.

Podere Piazza ist ein Landgut, hat seinen Ursprung im 15. Jahrhundert, das Ferienhaus wurde Anfang 17. Jahrhundert erbaut. Podere Piazza war der Wohnsitz von Alessandro Cervini degli Spannocchi, der am 29 Mai 1747 zum Erzbischof von Siena ernannt wurde, er war ein Nobile di Montepulciano und Patrizier von Siena. Die Gebäude von Podere Piazza tragen noch heute sein Wappen. Somit erklärt sich auch unser Kirchlein, am Straßenabzweig, davor rechts zur Pinienallee und links in die Einfahrt.

News of Villa Bonelli are already present in the Leopoldian Catasto of 1825: a noble palace of three floors, which overlook a beautiful garden. Passing along the street you can see the secular magnolia protruding beyond the walls: from this garden Alessandro Manzoni admired the Tuscan countryside during his visits to his daughter Vittoria, married in Siena and residing in Villa Bonelli. The L'Ortensia apartment is suitable for up to six people.

The Tower was created in the late 1800s by an illustrious Englishman, Sir John Temple Leader, in one of the oldest and most important stone quarries belonging to the Medici family. From the same quarry were extracted many important works such as the columns of the Medici chapels, the steps of the Laurenziana library .. all just 5 km from the historic center of Florence.
