Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Val-Louron

We are a couple with a 7-year-old child and we had a fantastic week in this brand new and very cozy little cottage on the heights of Saint-Lary-Soulan. The view is beautiful and the house is a perfect base camp for exploring the valley and the area. We would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic peaceful location. We stayed here for 2 nights to recharge whilst driving from the UK to Spain. It was exactly as described. The rooms were great, upstairs very comfortable and the views were lovely. Unrestricted hot tub time was a bonus considering we arrived at 11pm after a long day of driving. The pool was refreshing, not heated but it wasn’t needed as it was the perfect temperature. Very innovative. Only one remark: The key to the property was supposed to be an electric tag but they hadn’t told us this was not working and due to be fixed. Therefore when we went out for the day we had to leave the property unlocked. Obviously concerning but the location was very safe. I’m sure others would remove one star due to this, but there was so many positives about this place it would be unfair to lower the rating.

The description is accurate. As a couple, we spent 3 nights and enjoyed a good part of a day at the accommodation and its peaceful exterior, with very little facing each other. Everything is there on site, as described in the listing. We recommend this host and place to stay. If we return to the area, we would come back to this accommodation! Thank you Claudia

We wanted to thank you for the wonderful stay in the casita. We really enjoyed the tranquility and the surrounding nature, just what we were looking for. Being surrounded by so much greenery, seeing as many animals as cows and sheep, a hen, and a very affectionate Plume kitten upon receiving us 😍 It has been a beautiful and very comforting experience. Laurent's photos are great, but tell you that the reality is even better. The house is beautiful and full of meticulously chosen objects. And the views of the Pyrenees are a fascinating sight no matter what time of day (special mention for a very pure starry sky with sea of clouds in the valley). A welcoming place, beautiful, rare.

Very nice accommodation, well located in relation to the city center, well equipped, the covered parking is a real plus. Very nice view from the accommodation and is close to beautiful nature walks. We highly recommend it!

Excellent stay, the apartment is comfortable and very well equipped (small downside with the operation of the TV, we did not find the TNT channels easily). We were very well received on site by Aminatta, very friendly, very available, and very patient! I recommend this address 100%. To come with a GPS, do not enter "Paoulede" because it will not find it and will make you go around in circles!! Simply enter Val Louron station 65240 and it will take you there without any problems. An incredible and peaceful accommodation and setting! In addition to the superb view of the mountains, Thomas and Chloé are very welcoming and responsive hosts. Thank you for your recommendations and advice on activities and cheese factories in the region! We will be back!

Everything is perfect, the apartment is very nice, it is close to the center of Viella on foot and has everything you need. Lluis is very kind and gave us all the information to plan our stay.

Beautiful, clean and quiet apartment in the center of Luchon. Bakeries, supermarket, shops, restaurants within walking distance. This accommodation is highly recommended, communication with Natalia is also impeccable.

We had a great stay at Francis' place in Cauterets. The apartment is situated just outside of Cauterets centre (abut 10-15 min walk). This is clearly a 'ski resort' and we were there out of season so everything was very quiet with a number of shops closed, which suited us as we were looking for a quiet 'get-away'. We found it to be a good base from which to visit the most popular and interesting places in the area such as Foret de la Vallee-de-Saint-Savin, Lac du Gaube, Lourdes, Gavarnie and Col du Tourmalet, all of which are well worth a visit. Some truly spectacular scenery! We were there in May and were fortunate with the weather, a little rain, but some fabulous sunny days to see this spectacular scenery. The apartment itself was very clean, warm and comfortable. Francis lives downstairs, so was always available with help and advice should it be required. A very friendly and amenable host!
