Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Valais

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

Claudia’s home is one of the nicest homes I’ve stayed at. New, clean, huge, and that view!!!! We never wanted to leave and opted for rooftop dinners almost every evening. Truly a beautiful home that our whole extended family could be comfortable in thanks to the separate floors. Claudia was so helpful in explaining how the train works and we loved stepping out the front door to ride into town each day, but escaping to quiet in the evenings. Thank you and we hope to return!

Andrine and his wife were amazing, the house does not have wash machine, but when we ask for it, the family took our clothes, they wash and dry them. Amazing place and friendly place. Hopefully another time in Switzerland we will come back here again

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, this cabin is perfect! It’s cozy, secluded, and ideal for those who want to disconnect and enjoy nature. Janis provided detailed instructions, which were crucial since we arrived at night in thick fog. (Make sure to use Google Maps, as Waze led us down paths not meant for cars causing us to turn around in sketchy conditions.) The welcome basket was an incredibly thoughtful touch that made us feel welcomed and at home. The cabin’s simplicity was just what we needed—no distractions, just the beauty of nature all around. It’s well-equipped, but if you’re visiting in cooler weather, knowing how to make a fire is important to stay warm. The surrounding area is great for hiking or relaxing with a book, and the breathtaking views made the stay unforgettable. We left feeling refreshed and more connected to nature. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil experience!

Our stay in Wengen was nothing short of magical, and this Airbnb was a huge part of that. The home itself is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean, cozy, and with breathtaking views that make you want to stay forever. But what truly made this experience unforgettable were our hosts, Bernhard and Michela. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful. One of the highlights of our trip was actually a local lookout spot they recommended just down the road. Something we would have completely missed without their insider tip. We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, but this one stands out as the best by far. If you’re considering a trip to Wengen, don’t hesitate book this place. You won’t regret it!

Marco was very friendly and kind. The location was not too far from those two stations. It was walkable and surrounded by a beautiful nature so we could enjoy the scenery of Eiger mountain. It was a pleasant stay at Marco’s Charlet and I would recommend this place to some people who are looking for a peaceful place with a stunning view. The kitchen, the bathroom and everything was tidy. I was satisfied.

We felt very comfortable. Great location, the shuttle to Zermatt runs regularly and you can leave the car in the parking garage. Susanne was very helpful and always responded quickly. It is important that you read Susanne's documentation well in advance, otherwise it will be difficult to find the apartment. But Susanne has created a super detailed description, so it's easy. We'd love to visit again.

The stay was perfect for us. We felt super relaxed and comfortable. The place was very very clean and you had everything you needed. The communication with Doris was also impeccable. You can tell that Doris and Dominique have decorated and nurtured the chalet with a lot of heart. We would always come back!

We really enjoyed our time in the Kander Valley. The place is quiet and conveniently located. There is everything you need. Unfortunately, the sofa bed is not so comfortable - but Beno warned us. We can well imagine ourselves coming again.

A great place to connect with nature and get out of comfort zone. If you're looking for a 5 star Hotel don't go but if you're up for a little adventure and go back to the basics it's a great place to stay. Melanie was also very responsive and gave good instructions and tips. I'll definitely return...

We had a wonderful time in your home. First and foremost the house itself: so beautiful, soothing, tastefully furnished and very cozy. We felt right at home there and also our children played there for hours. And then that view, I can't imagine this ever getting used to. In addition, it is also a super nice region, every trip we were amazed by the beauty of the region. It was a really successful vacation! We would love to come back here again.

David is responsive, caring and easy to communicate with. It is a magical place, eco-co-responsible, conducive to disconnection, walking and for those who wish introspection. Find your scouting soul in this enchanting place in nature. In addition, he himself thought of this construction because of his profession, so the place embodies his values. Beautiful, lovingly decorated, small cabin high up in the mountains. We had a wonderful time hiking and climbing with our young children. It is very quiet on the Alp when the chairlift no longer runs in the evening. Aldo was very friendly and helpful. Even when it came to organizing luggage transportation. Great to really drive down. One of the best places I have lived.. in the lap of mountains. Awesome views, Bali styled houses, calm. you feel like not to go anywhere and just spend the whole day looking the at the mountain. on of my best AirBnB experience!!

We had a truly special stay here. We stayed here with our young kids and had a really great time. The outdoor space was ideal – the kids could run around, explore the garden, and play freely in nature, which they absolutely loved. It gave us a chance to slow down, enjoy the peace and quiet (with the occasional birdsong), and properly relax. The house itself was super clean and nicely put together. You can tell it’s looked after with care. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfy, and it felt cosy and welcoming from the start. If you're after a quiet break surrounded by nature, especially with kids, this is a great spot. We came back feeling recharged and would happily return.

The accommodation including surroundings are great! Sauna, Jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen are very clean and well maintained. Freely available coffee and fruit reflect the mindfulness of the host Matthias. If you have any questions or requests, a contact person will always be available on site or by text message.
