Older, well-maintained single-family home in quiet and peaceful surroundings with plenty of space and a short way to various nature experiences as well as the village of Flisa. Great opportunities for various trips, fishing and a quiet life in the countryside. 25 km from the Swedish border. The location is "in the middle of Scandinavia". 60 km to Kongsvinger, 50 km to Elverum, 80 km to Hamar. The residence is on a farm where we, a couple in our 60s, also live with a our dog, Perle.

The cabin has a simple, rustic standard with an open plan living and kitchen, two bedrooms and a traditional outhouse – perfect for authentic cabin moments without disturbances. Ski slopes only 100 meters away provide access to Blåenga and Vestmarka in the winter, while the summer offers great hiking trails and good fishing opportunities in nearby waters. Enjoy the silence, starry sky, and magical sunsets in the cabin.

Grobakken farm

Welcome to the small farm Grobakken, a nostalgic gem in Nordskogbygda, 17 km north of Elverum city center. Here you live on an old farm that has been run for centuries. You can enjoy the evening sun as it crackles in the fire pit or snuggle up with a coffee cup in front of the oven. Nature is right outside with hiking opportunities summer and winter. In addition, tourist destinations such as Trysil and Hamar are 45 minutes drive. Free loan of various hiking equipment and free firewood.

Smallholding in Nordskogbygda

Old, but recently renovated smallholding from the late 19th century. In the ground floor it is an entrance, kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. The second floor consist of a big room with the possibility to house many people. It is also a second restroom in this floor. Outside is a lovely garden, and during winter you could put on your cross-country skis and start skiing from the house. Elverum city is just a short 20 min. drive from the house.

You don't have to travel all the way to Sweden to find an idyllic torp. Lots of nice hiking opportunities right outside the door. Berry picking and cycling is one of the things you can do here. Opportunities for nice forest baths in the surrounding area. Rich in animals and birdlife. Live simple, close.

Kjøleskap, oppvaskmaskin, komfyr og microovn. Fryser kan disponeres. Soveplass for 5 personer. Ikke tillatt med dyr. Ta med sengetøy og håndklær eller du kan leie for 75kr pr person.

The farm is about 15 minutes drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car to stay with us. You will find a farm in operation, with tractor driving at times, but also silence, nature, trees, fields and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see moose and deer on the land. Sometimes it's the northern lights!
