It was literally living in a place close to heaven. It’s not only furnished with so much love, but also the attention to detail made it much more special. We were in awe upon our arrival, and found it hard to leave. We would like to recommend it to everyone, but it is so special, that we just might keep this as our best kept secret! From the moment we booked, our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. They offered excellent recommendations, answered our questions with warmth and patience, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything is within walking distance. The way the villa is situated allows you to wake up to the gentle embrace of sunlight streaming through the windows, and ending the day with golden sunsets was pure magic. It is absolutely breathtaking. The thoughtfulness throughout made it easy to settle in and feel completely at ease, as if we were staying with dear friends. A stay so extraordinary, you’ll cherish every moment and never want to leave.

Beautiful and cosy place.

When we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the view of the valley and mountains. We very much appriciated the tranquility of the location. The terrace is large and the terraced garden is really beautiful. There are palms, olive, and fruit trees (orange and lemon). The casita is spacy for a couple, modern, well built and completely furnished. The final touch is made by the owner. Dawn and partner are very helpful if you have questions, but not at all intrusive. One small remark, if you hate narrow mountain roads you might not be pleased with the last kilometer to the casita. But you get used to it, as we did. We enjoyed our stay more than anywhere else!

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house which has been thoughtfully refurbished and decorated! The house had everything we needed and everything was very well thought out. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing escape while still being in good reach of Velez-Malaga and Malaga itself by car. Our hosts were always very helpful, with excellent communication throughout. They took extra care to make sure that we were okay and had everything we needed during the Spain blackout which was very kind! We would happily come back to stay again!!

Had a great stay. House is perfect for couples or small families who want a peaceful getaway. As some of the reviews mention you do access the property via a gravel track (usual for the area) but dont let it put you off, drove it many times in a Citroen C3 no problem and followed a smart car on the same road one day. Just take it slow and remember the route María shows you as it saves you 10 minutes comparted to sat-nav. María and Fernando are fantastic hosts and we would be happy to stay with them again. We spent a very relaxing and quiet week at Cristina's "Stall" and can only recommend a stay for those seeking peace. Cristina's directions were excellent and the communication with her was also excellent. The accommodation had everything you need - it was very cozy. Thank you Cristina. vie

I cannot rate this place high enough. It’s a slice of heaven and a place of dreams. If you want to get away from the world but be close enough to be in Malaga within 15 minutes, I don’t think you can do better. The work and effort that Juan and Ana have put into this place is outstanding. It’s secluded, it’s peaceful, it’s surrounded by beautiful vistas. It’s only 15 minutes from the outskirts of Malaga, but you feel in your own, private world. From here I visited Malaga, Ronda, Cordoba and Granada. I also spent days doing nothing at all, just laying by the pool or swimming, relaxing in peace and reading. It’s such a wonderful place. May I please say a particular thanks to Juan, who is the most charming and friendly host you can hope to meet. The pride and passion he has for the home and the area is incredible. He was an absolute pleasure. Kind hearted and patient while I practiced my terrible Spanish on him. I look forward to returning and miss being there already.

Blanca and her family were lovely hosts. Easy check in, very flexible. The home was beautiful and the pool was great.

Lola and her husband were super attentive and always responded quickly to our questions. Home is just as it is on the listing. We had incredible days at Casita de Chimalí. All clean and very organized. Lola even left beds for sleeping and bowls for food and water for our 3 dogs.

We’ve recently returned from a wonderful stay at the villa with our family. The view was absolutely stunning and created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday. We were especially grateful that two high chairs and cots were set up and ready for our grandsons - such a thoughtful touch that made things a lot easier for us. The villa was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. Pepe was incredibly helpful and very friendly throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. A lovely stay all round!

We had a lovely 9 night stay at this villa. Surroundings are beautiful, the gardens and pool are are impressive. Kids lived in the pool and the ping pong table was a welcome surprise and got lots of use. We had many BBQs in the outdoor kitchen, and the terraces get sun all day long so perfect to relax anytime of day in sun or shade.

Cher and Jose are wonderful hosts and their property is lovely. Spent a week there, loved it and will certainly be going back in the future. Didn’t see a cloud in the sky and the pool was just perfect to dip in and out of to stay cool. Walked to the Marina every night for food and now starting our diets ready for our next trip! 🤣 Thanks again Cher - lovely seeing you again and see you again soon. 😎

This apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The large terrace with the beautiful panoramic view to Monda, Monda castle, olive groves and mountains are such a bliss! The little pool is perfect for a quick dip. We enjoyed every minute here! We especially enjoyed the Easter processions in Monda, the beautiful hikes in the area, drinks and dinner at the castle, and slow days on the terrace. Scarlett and Lee made us feel very welcome. Responding quickly and providing valuable tips about hikes, trips, local events and nice restaurants. Thank you so much for everything. We would love to return.

My wife and I just spent an amazing 15 days at Casa Folimanka. When we arrived tired from an overnight flight, Javier was at the front gate to meet us. He and Lorraine gave us a comprehensive tour of the features of the property. The interior has beautiful floors, flawless tile-work, modern appliances and two sizeable bathrooms each equipped with double vanities and stunning showers along with two fully-equipped bedrooms. The exterior has a spacious yard, great views of the sea and various spaces to lounge, eat and soak up the sun. The property is also very well secured with plentiful activities close by in all directions. The Casa has everything that you could ever need for your holiday, yet it does not feel at all cluttered. The support that we received from Lubomir and team was first rate with quick responses when we couldn’t find things and excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. They really made us feel welcome and special during our stay. 5 stars all around!

All was good. If you are looking for a quiet place, the finca is perfect. Also to work their the wifi connection was good and fasr had no problems to join online meetings when i was their.

A fantastic accommodation. Perfect for couples. You are completely undisturbed and blessed with absolute privacy. The view and the cottage are beautiful and invite you to linger or spend a cozy day by the pool. The drive up the mountain is a bit tedious, but you will be well compensated by the great view. We found the location of the accommodation to be an optimal center for excursions to Ronda, Seville, Granada and Cordoba. Each destination is between 1.5 and 2.5 hours' drive (all four are highly recommended). The accommodation was very clean and very practical. Helga is an absolutely reliable and accommodating hostess.

Very spacious house with fantastic views from the balcony. The host was friendly and accommodating. Mercadona is 50 metres away. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the town in the evening. We recommend!

Absolutely amazing place, which is really a little paradise. We had a little difficulty finding it as google maps didn't show correctly, but both Cristina and Juanlu helped us out and we were guided there. The place is a gem and everything is in the finest condition. We enjoyed experiencing Juanlus's many beautiful works of art. We'll be happy to get back.
