Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Valpaços

Excellent. A magnificent place, old house, with period furniture, terrace, fully equipped, with unique details, such as bringing bread at the door for breakfast. The most pleasant and recommended place of the many I have visited by Airbnb in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and Germany.

The welcome is very good, we live in a house shared with all the comforts you need: fitted kitchen, washing machine, etc.

We really enjoyed the days in this special atmosphere. Absolutely recommended if you want to relax.

We have been three families with children and have really enjoyed our stay. Although it was not very hot outside the children could bathe, and in the outside area play the volleyball. The very complete and hot house,fireplace, barbecue, billiards,...and the village very quiet and close to other areas of interest: Chaves and Braganza. Nano, the person who took care of us, was very kind and explained everything in great detail. Definitely a place to repeat

I would recommend staying at Madalena's. It feels like home. The house is well located and very nice! Madalena is an exceptional host! Whether it's for the long term or a short stay, the care of each guest's stay makes it unforgettable! For massage lovers, don't hesitate to plan a relaxing moment during your stay! Mirandela is a lovely city that I enjoyed walking throughout my trip!

Perfect accommodation very comfortable and clean,great, well communicated to visit the main cities,the village is a little soso, there is only a bar to have a drink but if you are looking for perfect tranquility. the accommodation of 10.

José's estate is beautiful with stunning views of the hills. The accommodation is very comfortable. And the location is great for exploring the local area. José was always very available. Breakfast is included, hearty, and delicious. I would highly recommend this rental.

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

The beautiful complex is an oasis in the somewhat bustling environment of the city of Vila Real. Ins and her people are very friendly and extremely nice, without being intrusive. Every morning fresh bread is brought to the house, great service, also the daily cleaning of the bungalow is very pleasant. The garden areas are very well maintained, the pool is cleaned daily, the water is super clear and refreshing. Our bungalow was more spacious than it looked like in the pictures and wonderfully cool due to the thick granite walls even at 33 degrees outside temperature. The excursion tips are lovingly drawn and well thought out. All in all, the four of us had a wonderful week at Ines. Thank you!

It was a very nice stay! It was all super clean, something we highly valued! Having where to park the car next to the house, with its own plaza seemed phenomenal to us!

What about our visit to Nagoselo do Douro! The space was perfect. This small village and the people who live there are even warmer. Katia was always available for us. We had a puncture and she helped us communicate with the rental company. The people in the village helped us too, in the rain! What about Mrs. Isabel, the lady of the small local market. Smiling, thoughtful, and generous. Unable to leave the village without kissing it before leaving. We enjoyed our stay very much. The Douro region is magical, even in early March!

Fantastic apartment right in the heart of charming Vila Real. The place had everything we needed and was an important factor in our enjoyment of the city and our vacation. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at Vitor’s property. The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. The apartment was well equipped. Vitor was a lovely host who showed us his wine making business and gave us local recommendations. He also made sure we have candles when the was a long power outage in the whole country and made us feel like he’s giving us extra thought.

We loved our stay. We are a group of 3 couples and 2 daughters and were surprised by the house, everything was very esteemed, clean and with such a pleasant smell. The house has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, several spaces to eat and stay, indoors and outdoors, the pool and the outdoor space are super nice. It is a charming house, old but impeccably restored, we loved the entrance, the wooden staircase, the antique furniture… everything was impeccable. The area is very quiet, with a tiny grocery store, but with a little bit of everything and very nice people, bread at the door. We loved the surrounding area, Elisa pointed us to a river beach that is simply magnificent for its peace, tranquility and such good water. In short, it was a wonderful few days, Elisa is a very friendly and helpful host, the house is magnificent and the area is very good. We recommend it and will certainly be back.❤️

Enjoyed our stay in Vila Real. We used it as a hub for day trips in the area. The house was beautiful and well cared for and met our expectations.

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

The house was even more beautiful than expected and cleaned to a wonderful standard. The place felt homely and spacious with enough amenities provided ie towels, kitchen utensils, food items etc. Pool and grounds were well kept by Fernando who helped us out with some queries during the week. The ruins on the property have the place an authentic and rustic feel. This is the perfect spot to get away from it all for some peace and quiet in the beautiful countryside.

The house, carefully equipped as a family home, exceeded expectations: impeccable cleaning, efficient heating in winter and a traditional, simple and tasteful decor. It offers the essentials with excellence, including in the package, typical village security and an authentic charm, away from the standard of mass tourism. Parking is on the street but it is easy and certain, as is the confidence of the host by providing utensils and towels at will — a gesture that deserves reciprocal respect. However, I had an initial difficulty: the address was not located by Google Maps/Waze, as it is in a rural village. I contacted the host who was promptly solicitous and everything resolved. Despite this small logistical challenge, the experience was perfect. For those seeking a cost-effective connection of simplicity, values respect for space and details, as well as seeking an authentic and welcoming experience, I recommend without hesitation! Tip: combine details of the advance route

Joao’s place was clean, cozy and inviting. Nestled in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood offering tons of privacy. His mom Maria was there to meet us when we arrived , we actually landed 20-30 minutes before check in and she let us in and showed us around. This is the third place we’ve stayed here on this trip and by far my favourite for a relaxing stay.

Perfect space. Really a super complete vacation home. Our congratulations for the space. The only "problem" we had was locomotion outside the house. We have a the family with limited mobility and the number of stairs and own house being situated on a slope did not help much. But obviously this is not a defect. We just wanted to highlight this part because as we have a lot of people in this situation and it makes it difficult a little bit. Outside if the stairs had handrails would be ideal . But everything was perfect thank you
