Cabin holiday rentals in Van Zandt County

We wanted to get away for some much needed downtime after school ended. Bluegill Lake Cabins privided just what we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. There was a lake with a canoe right out the front door. Everyone could do as mu h or little as they needed ornwanted to. We are already planning out next stay.

My husband and I rented this cabin for 3 Days 2 nights anniversary stay. We really enjoyed the seclusion of not being super close to Neighbors, surrounded by trees and nature. It was very peaceful and Serene. The cabin had many amenities to keep us entertained while having romantic evenings. We loved the vaulted ceilings, the large porches, the hot tub, the porch swing was one of my favorite places to sit, and we loved the large two shower head shower. It was also cool that there was trails to the pond and other games to play in the coffee table. We had such a good time there and would recommend this cabin for any reason to go stay there. We hope to return in the future!

Great place to have fun and relax

Anna cabin was absolutely perfect for a little get away from the city life. The only thing you could hear was nature as it's a very private location. The cabin itself is beautiful and a lot bigger than I excepted! Highly recommend this stay!

This was the second stay at this Airbnb, and it was another wonderful experience. Many fish were caught from the dock, and it was enjoyable to relax by the fire and make s'mores. This place is highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with great fishing and enjoyable amenities like the fire pit, beautiful views and s'mores!

What a beautiful Air bnb! We stayed one night during a cross country road strip and wished we had time for a second night. The pool and hot tub area was beautiful and there were so many toys and activities for kids. Inside the house was just wonderful…we felt so at home and there were so many lovely touches. We have stayed in a lot of air bnbs and this one really was one of the best. It had every kitchen utensil or kitchen equipment you could dream of, with drawers and cupboards clearly labeled making it easy to find things in new surroundings. Very comfortable beds and sofas. The surrounding area was pretty farmland and not too far from the highway and maybe 40mins outside of Dallas so perfect for us. I’m not sure if there was much around in terms of restaurants but with such a beautiful house we really didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect place to recharge our weary travelling souls and get back on the road…highly highly recommend!

Great get away. Calm and relaxing doesn’t even begin to describe what this place is. Great fishing and even better evenings around the fire. Definitely will keep this gem in mind for our next get away.

We loved staying here. The resort and their workers are awesome! The cottage was super cute and nice. The amnesties are the best. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

We had an incredible time at this beautiful tiny home cabin, only 9 min from downtown Ben Wheeler. The country surroundings were so beautiful, the horses and dogs were friendly, and we found lots to occupy our time. My son loved the loft beds and used them to play, and we played corn hole and pet the horses in our downtime. Our dog enjoyed the property as well and the owner's dogs said hi but kept to themselves. There is a highway in front of the home but there was rarely traffic, and the location was very peaceful. We loved seeing all the stars at night! Jennifer left many great local recommendations; our favorite being the Forge downtown. The cabin smelled of fresh cedar and candles, and there was a lovely bouquet greeting us as we walked in. Loved the horse theme throughout the cabin. This was such a nice little getaway and perfect for my 6 year old and I. We would love to return!

This place was amazing. They were extremely responsive and very accommodating. Looking forward to next year's trip.

The wife and pups really enjoyed our stay on the property feels so peaceful and relaxing, with plenty to do if you are outdoors type. Fishing and nature is abundant! Feels like you are off the grid , but town is only 15 minutes away for anything you will need.The cabin is built right into the property with a dock right outside the door and a boat as well.Really recommend checking this out if you like what you see.

Excellent stay! Had the privilege of meeting Michael and his wife, and they are great welcoming folk. The property is beautiful and beyond words. I was in town while on tour and there was plenty of room for my pickup and 28’ trailer. The home itself is peaceful and quiet. The catfish pond with turtles was great. I enjoyed relaxing on the dock drinking my morning coffee and basking in the surroundings. It’s a short trip to town, which has a lot of great restaurants and things to do. Highly recommend. One of my favorite Airbnb’s and hosts to date.

This was a great place to stay during our trip to fish lake fork. The house was exactly as described. Parking for our trucks was no issue at all. I would definitely stay again if I return to the area.

This was our get away, away from the city life. It was peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for. Our fur babies loved it as well.

This was mine and my husbands second time to come and stay. We love this place! It’s quiet, relaxing and just feels like home! We were able to walk the trails and fish and even went to town for breakfast one morning. Only thing I wish was that some of the branches be cleared away from the edges of the fishing areas and possibly some benches in the walking trails so you can sit and just enjoy the peacefulness. Aside from that everything is perfect!! We will definitely be back to stay again and have even recommended this place to multiple people!!!

My husband and I had a last minute get away for a fishing trip. This place was perfect for the two of us! Nice and quaint little guest house with a great dock - Kerin was a wonderful host with great communication! Would recommend if you find yourself needing a place in the area!

Kimberly’s place is absolutely fantastic! The ambiance is very peaceful and welcoming! The hosts were friendly, warm and treated me like family! I absolutely loved the spaciousness of the cottage as well as the pristine condition of the amenities. I loved relaxing on the spacious covered porch! This was definitely an elevated experience and I look forward to returning to this little slice of Heaven!

We drove down from Dallas for my neice's wedding. Absolutely beautiful property. Marina was amazing! We lost our 1st reservation the day before and AirBNB picked this for us. They appear to be getting ready for summer...paddle boats worked...needed some power washing a bit dirty but not an issue, the motor boat did not but we did not worry. Our kids and grandkids also drove from NC so the came to the property and loved it. The only thing I will mention..again not a huge deal. Seems the last renter there left several pantry items. It did not take up much space but we feel it should have been removed. Again, this was last minute due to prior reservation being cancelled due to a death and Marina probably jumped through hoops to get it ready the night before. She was very accomodating the same night we booked and super responsive. Lovely cabin..we even saw a deer our first night! We will definately love to go back and stay there. This place and the host 10 out of 10!

Awesome little cabin for our anniversary. Exactly what we were looking for. Private, beautiful, and quiet. Upon arrival Janell had a dozen roses on the kitchen island for our anniversary celebration. What a sweet touch!!! The fishing at the lake was amazing and we had an amazing fire under the stars. Highly recommend this place for your next getaway!
