Welcome to the Lodge of the Gite de la Mourée in Vars, a 19th-century sheepfold completely renovated in 2022. The gite is ideally located less than 1 km from the Vars ski slopes and is connected by a free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes, just 50 meters from the lodge.

It's also a good base for the ski touring in Queyras and Les Ecrins. It's situated in the quite, upper part of the village, giving you amazing views over the mountains. It has an outdoor patio, place to park your car and good internet connection.

Its dominant location allows it a unique view of the Champsaur Valley, the start of hikes at the gates of the Parc des Écrins, paragliding and a nearby climbing site. In winter, it is also a spot appreciated by cross-country skiers or snowshoe enthusiasts.
