This was one of two Airbnb stays we've visited for the second time over the years. This time we felt extremely comfortable with Julio and Irene! This time we were on site for 2 weeks and were therefore able to enjoy the accommodation even more. The pool, the nature, everything convinced us again this time! A beautiful place to stay in a quiet, fantastic location in the middle of the vineyards! Carlos is a great host and we didn't lack anything. We were warmly greeted and given fresh grapes as a welcome gift, the world's best figs and a delicious pudim/flan with caramel. The view on the balcony and from the pool is fantastic. By car, it is about 5 minutes to the nearest supermarket and within about 15 minutes there are numerous restaurants, e.g. directly in Celorico de Basto or Mondim de Basto. The distance to Porto airport is just 1 hour. Since I had to work during the day, a stable internet connection was very important. Again, everything was perfect! So the property is also wonderful for a workation. We will be happy to come back!

Upon arriving at the house we were presented by the sympathy of Mrs. Paula (mother of Vânia) with a wonderful cake but mainly for the beauty of the house and the surrounding space. We had an impeccable stay. Everything was clean and tidy ready to use and everything from the kitchen was very modern. The pool and surrounding space is something extraordinary for a group of friends who are looking for a quiet, relaxing and fun space. As the place is in the middle of nature we are not surprised by little animals that we were keeping company. Dona Paula also lived in the house but downstairs and we only noticed it when we saw the garden treated and arranged and when we approached her. It was an experience to repeat. Thank you. PS: 5min drive away is a river beach with the cleanest water I've ever seen on these type of beaches.

Couldn’t recommend this villa enough, the views were absolutely amazing! So peaceful and surrounding were one of a kind. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed . The villa was in pristine condition - couldn’t fault one thing! All bedrooms had bathrooms with showers and all bedrooms had electric black out blinds. Large seating areas to accommodate all people staying there, we had great use of the pool table and great space for entertainment. The views from the pool are unmatched and you have a lot of privacy. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all amenities, seasonings, cutlery, pans, Toasties machine etc. We used Uber eats to get our groceries delivered, which is definitely the best options if you’re wanting to stock up the kitchen with food and drink. It is about an hour drive from Porto so we either used a local taxi firm or bolt to get around . Porto was beautiful so definitely worth a visit.

Everything was great & we got great recommendations for the area. Upon arrival, we met at a nearby cafe and were escorted to the accommodation. We were very warmly welcomed on site and received the first information. After half of the stay, we even got fresh towels. Unfortunately, two things are not apparent from the description: the view of the lake is obscured by trees & you have direct neighbors. But that didn't bother us & we would come again and again!

The 2nd time we visited the house and were again positively surprised. We love the days we spend there, the pool space is spectacular, 5* for several days with friends. I only advise and place a refrigerator in the house, because on days of too much heat it becomes difficult to have the fresh drinks, since the refrigerator is too small for the number of people, apart from all this excellent. We also appreciate Pedro's friendliness.
