Over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

A peaceful and idyllic rural place. Very nice and pleasant cottage where we stayed. Excellent weightlifting gym in the adjacent building. The host himself lives in the yard and very well serves as needed. I can recommend it for those traveling with family.

Emmi is really friendly, helpful and easy/quick to reach. The place was clean and quiet and in the heat the apartment was wonderfully cool for sleeping. Own entrance so no unnecessary sounds heard from anywhere. Great place, I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Vaasa.

Booked on the same night and arrived at the property in the evening. It was easy to find. Turning into the yard opened up a wonderful garden and the cottage exceeded expectations. The cat came to greet us right away, even in the cabin. The sauna had gentle steam. Toys for a 3-year-old were found outside and the twins were able to lower themselves to the floor of the cottage to play. The cottage had all the necessary dishes and utensils for cooking. We slept well at night. Thanks for this experience. Full 5 stars.

It’s our second time here and still had a great time! Very nice location. A great place to spend time with family and nature. Very spacious and lots of activities that you can do both indoor and outdoor. The kitchen is fully equipped. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, enjoy, and relax, this is the place.
