Commiezenhuis

This Commiezen house (customs office/earlier BORDER/TAX CONTROL Office) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30 min.) are also easily accessible. Public transportation - bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

Vanaf het balkon bij de slaapkamer zie je 's ochtends de zon opkomen boven het duinlandschap, waar ook vaak herten te zien zijn. Het huis is ruim, heeft 2.5 woonlagen en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een gedeeld zwembad + sauna.

Sfeervol huis, nabij nationaal park (Kennemerduinen) en op fiets afstand van strand. Haarlem en Amsterdam gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Ruime woonkamer met open keuken, houtkachel en openslaande pui over gehele breedte naar zonnige tuin met bbq. Eerste verdieping: twee slaapkamers met tweepersoonsbed, aparte badkamer met inloopdouche en toilet. Op de tweede verdieping bevindt zich een zeer ruime slaapkamer met eigen badkamer en toilet. Beautiful corner house with large sunny garden all around!!!

Beautiful characteristic corner house (135m2) with large sunny south-facing garden. With very large "inground" trampoline (15m2). Ideal for a family with (small) children. Located in a quiet neighborhood in the village of Driehuis, with its own train station. Close to forests, beach, dunes and big cities: Amsterdam (30 minutes) and Haarlem (15 minutes) and Zandvoort (30 minutes) by train. A house to spend a wonderful vacation carefree. Be welcome!
