Our spacious and beautifully restored medieval house and large private garden is within the walls of the serene and picturesque heritage-listed village of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, where the film "Chocolat" was filmed. From here you can explore wineries, beautiful villages and peaceful countryside, chateaux, abbayes and museums. You can even hop on the train to Paris or explore the towns of Dijon or Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. The house has a beautiful character and ambiance. It is suited for couples and families.

Stunning views across the Auxois countryside from both house and garden. Very comfortable double bedroom with private entrance & ensuite bathroom in a sleepy hamlet. The heated garden kitchen can be enjoyed year round providing simple cooking facilities, dining table and armchairs. There is an area for alfresco meals, a small herb garden & deck chairs to enjoy the spectacular views; off road parking. The owners, Bill and Jenny Higgs live next door - very discreet but always on hand to help.

Ideal for a getaway, a stopover by bike or exploring the Auxois, the accommodation is located just 100 meters from the Canal de Bourgogne and a few kilometers from the must-see sites of Alesia and Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, one of the most beautiful villages in France. 🚲 Bikes can be brought inside the accommodation. The entire home is available for your use. Self check-in and check-out using a key box. Check in after 4:00 PM and check out by 10:30 AM.

It is perfectly insulated to accommodate you comfortably in SUMMER and WINTER.
