Explore the northern reaches of the Venetian Lagoon by rowing boat with me, a rowing expert, and discover a serene environment of wetlands and shallow waters impossible to see from a motorboat. • Meet at a private rowing club, where I’ll introduce the art of Venetian rowing. You’ll then board a traditional vessel—a gondola, sanpierota, batea, or caorlina, depending on the number of guests. • Row to the islands of Murano and Certosa, stopping for a short walk. I’ll share insights into this peaceful environment and its fascinating history. • You’ll safely practice rowing yourself, gaining a deeper appreciation for the unique design of Venetian boats and traditional rowing techniques. By the time we return to the rowing club, you’ll have acquired some new rowing skills and a whole new perspective on the city.

Hidden canals and lagoon of Venice

We will start from the Church of San Lazzaro dei Mendicanti on the north side of the city and along the Venice Arsenal we will visit the Castello district, one of the oldest parts of the city. We will make a small stop in front of the church of San Pietro di Castello for an aperitif and then continue to the southern part of the city where we will have a panoramic view of the Lido of Venice, the small islands of the southern lagoon and of San Giorgio. We will then return to the canals of Castello until we return to the meeting point. IMPORTANT: The experience works through a sport association, so, legally, I need to release you the sport association member card and the addictional insurance. In order to do that I need your documents at least one day before the experience date.

Unseen Venice boat ride

The tour will last approximately 85 minutes. The main aim of this experience is to take you away from all of the overcrowded areas and to let you admire and appreciate the real Venice in a more intimate and fun environment, guided by a native Venetian! Other things to note If you easily get seasick, this might not be recommended for you, but keep in mind that among canals rough sea almost impossible to find. You will get on my "topa" boat and you will experience a great Venetian aperitivo with a stunning view of Venice from the outer lagoon and its magic islands :) As soon as we start cruising, I'll start serving you drinks and snacks. The experience will last about 1 hour and a half and you will get to see its most iconic views (San Marco, Giudecca, Lido di Venezia and much more).
