Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Verdon

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Carina war perfekt! Die Unterkunft ist genau wie beschrieben und das Loft ist super ausgestattet! Carine hat bei der Ausstattung so gut wie an alles gedacht. Die Außenanlage und der Pool waren auch super. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub :)

Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet, blitzsauber und top ausgestattet – wir haben uns von Anfang an rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist fantastisch, die Gastfreundschaft herzlich und der hauseigene Wein einfach fabelhaft – sehr zu empfehlen! Josiane and Jean Paul's cottage was the perfect getaway we were looking for, secluded but not remote a perfect place to escape the chaos of the world! The location is pristine and filled with enchanting sights, sounds and smells that feed the soul, to healing proportions! Our hosts were very accommodating and had no problem going the extra mile, they truly made us feel at home.

We’ve just returned from the most unforgettable stay — and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, everything was pure perfection. The setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds that feel like something out of a dream. The accommodation itself was stylish, spotless, and so thoughtfully put together. The pool area was a slice of paradise — peaceful, relaxing, and impeccably maintained. Julien and his family were the most gracious hosts, making us feel completely at home from the very beginning. A perfect place to hide away in plain view in Provence. Right in the middle of the stunning town of Menerbes. Steps away from all the restaurants and the curated epicerie. Although pricey, definitely worth it. Maison O was exactly how we imagined it to be. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Beds extremely comfortable and bathrooms with excellent showers which were definitely needed since the day time temperature never went below 30 for the whole week. Apropos that. A little more shade for the terrace would have been much appreciated. Although there is no AC the interior rooms stayed coolish if all doors and windows were kept closed. The whole experience was fabulous. Our favourite evening activity after the heat of the mid day was a stroll to Cafe Progres, purchasing an Apéritif and sitting on their terrace overlooking the valley. A light breeze to cool us down and a chat with the locals. It really was the quintessential experience in Provence. We would not hesitate to return.

Geneviève est très accueillante et sympathique. Rien ne manquait, un espace agréable. Plein de petites attentions qui font plaisir, comme des fleurs fraîches dans les vases. Je recommande vivement. Un endroit paisible en pleine nature et au calme. Magnifique, merci Geneviève et qui sait, peut-être à une autre fois.

Belle maison, dans la nature, mais proche d’une petite ville dans les gorges du Verdon. Super pour y rester quelques jours. Je recommande

Logement tout petit mais tout correct : bien équipé, idéalement situé au coeur du village (on y laisse ses bagages, puis on se rend à l’un des parkings en haut, retour 10 minutes à pied), calme, lit confortable, et petite terrasse privée en prime ; Jean-Claude = hôte épatant ! Jacques&Jacques

The apartment design is wonderful as is its location on the top floor. The soothing colors and linen textiles make it feel luxurious! And the light and views are exceptional. There is a 1.5 hour loop walk you can do to Cadenet which we did each morning for coffee. Caroline is helpful and left welcome gifts we enjoyed. You can tell they have put their hearts into the place.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Gréoux les bains. L’appartement était parfait, super calme avec une magnifique vue. Gel douche, shampoing et serviettes disponibles. Cuisine bien équipée, un grand frigo. Ce petit séjour était bien relaxant 😊

jolie petite maison dans le jardin des propriétaires, calme et confortable ,il ne manque rien. Proche des sites de randonnées. on a passé 1 excellent séjour.

Diese Wohnung in Riez ist einen Besuch wert. Sie liegt zentral im Ortszentrum neben der Bibliothek und man ist jederzeit im Mittelpunkt des Geschehens. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Am Markttag geht man aus dem Haus und steht gleich mitten auf dem sehr vielfältigen und großen Markt. Auch viele hübsche Nachbarorte und die nahe Verdonschlucht sind gut erreichbar. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht da, wollen aber gerne noch einmal kommen. Stéphanie hat uns auch gute Tipps für die Tagesgestaltung und Empfehlungen gegeben.

What a fabulous time in Cassis! The sardinette has an unparalleled view of the marina, lighthouse, castle, dramatic landscape, and Mediterranean so we ate all meals on the charming patio and then slept like babies after swimming, walking, and dining every day. A true vacation! Merci!

L’appartement est splendide avec une vue magnifique sur le vieux port, Notre-Dame de la Garde et l’abbaye St-Victor. Bien situé, près du quartier le panier que nous pouvons explorer à pied.

Wir haben sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub gehabt, die Lage ist außergewöhnlich, 14 Stufen bis zum Meer. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gut ausgestattet, passt für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern. Für den Strand steht alles zu Verfügung, Liegen, Schirme und Tische. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön mit vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. In Nebensaison ist sehr ruhig. Das Meer traumhaft türkis und ruhig.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Audrey est très accueillante , pétillante, et joignable à tous moments si besoin. En ce qui concerne l appartement, j essaie de trouver quelque chose de négatif mais je ne vois rien. C est extrêmement propre, ça sent bon quand on rentre, des rangements à gogo (ce qui est rare ), d une superficie idéale pour un couple voire 3 personnes et bien sur une vue sur le port magnifique accessible en 2mns à pieds. Bref à refaire dès que possible.

We absolutely loved this cozy and beautiful apt. The view was worth the money! Frederic was super nice and helpful, responsive and flexible, provided recommendations for local restaurants. Walkable to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. We found the parking right outside the building very easy too!

I stayed with my partner for two nights. Manon was very responsive all the time. The appartment was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The most amazing part of our stay was the view of the port from the appartment. It is located on a private neighbourhood and has free parking inside. It is also very close to other attractions like Sain Tropez, the center of Grimaud and nice beaches. Would definately recommend staying there.
