We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is incredible, you’ll have everything you’d need. Full of very thoughtful details. Very cozy, confortable and charming. The surroundings are beautiful and in a short drive you’d find anything you may need in Brattleboro. From dining to great coffee, groceries and more… I loved how simple and easy where the instructions for check-in and Out. Katherine was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful place with great family room with fireplace especially when your weather doesn’t cooperate. The house is well kept and the instructions for everything were placed all around where needed. Fenced yard was great for the dog. The bed in the master is super comfortable with great linens. Loved the house-would live in it in a heart beat. Plenty of games, air hockey table, darts and another game table…grill, firewood- even poop scoops for the dog! Well done!

We had a wonderful stay! It's such a beautiful and unusual cabin. It would be great for two couples as there are 2 equally great bedrooms that are quite separate, and a very nice sitting area around the amazing wood stove. (Which we didn't use because it's June and not necessary.) The hot tub was such a treat, and the bedroom with the boat was so cool. (OK, so maybe the bedrooms aren't quite equally great.) The kitchen is outstanding! We sat out on the porch a lot looking over the meadow, and I really liked that we were able to bring our dog. About the notes and instructions: they didn't bother us at all. There's a few non-intuitive features of the cabin, and it was useful to have clear guidance on those things. I want to make clear why I gave 4 stars for "cleanliness". I think they do an excellent job cleaning this cabin! But a rustic cabin like this is impossible to make "5-star clean". If you want or need that level of cleanliness, then "rustic" isn't for you! Go find a nice hotel.

The Cow Barn Lodge was peaceful, clean and close to many cool small towns. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return again. Donna and Jack were great!

Absolutely lovely space. So quiet, very secluded, extremely peaceful. I loved the outdoor shower, and the wind blowing through the trees at night was just lovely. The hosts were so kind and communicative - gave me a very warm welcome but then gave me the space I wanted for the rest of my stay. If you’re looking for a rustic stay in a tranquil place, I highly recommend!

This space above the garage is a total gem—beautiful timber framing, cozy space, and character. Everything feels carefully chosen with full of charm. There is a sense of curating the space with just the right pieces to make it truly unique. The owner is clearly a skilled craftsman; the mix of old tools, recycled materials, and vintage touches makes the whole place feel special. Thoughtful, warm. Would absolutely stay again!

Convenient to multiple cities. a peaceful location with all of the amenities and a grocery store nearby.

This place was awesome! We loved our stay, perfect for our family of 5! Plenty of space, great hosts, well-equipped, brand new kitchen and spacious living area. Loved having the bonus room and the game/exercise room! We will be back for more ski season visits and look forward to exploring Wilmington more in other seasons (and eating at Dot's!). Very convenient location and easy to find.

Heather and Peter were delightful hosts. We enjoyed the beauty and peace of their surroundings. The comfy bed overlooked a pond which we liked. The kitchen hot plate and large countertop oven worked well for making full meals. We even made a homemade deep dish pizza in the oven which turned out really well. The large refrigerator was stylish and quiet. It was good to have a full sized washer and dryer. The living room furniture was really clean which was great. The hosts also gave us a tour of their property.

We have stayed here before. The apartment was comfortable, very clean, quiet and has everything you need. We would definitely recommend !

Loved this place so much I stayed on for a second week! The perfect place for a quiet, peaceful, creative retreat. Michelle is a very gracious host, and this lovely little place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Echoing what others have said about arrival — there’s very limited (or no) cell service in the area, so take screenshots of the directions before you travel. Wifi in the stables was excellent. I had multiple video calls during my stay and never had an issue.

This place was great. Roomy, clean, and exactly as described. The host was so responsive and accommodating. The backyard is beautiful and there are plenty of games and activities to do outside. Amazing stay!

I stayed at Wendy's place for a week while attending a conference at Breadloaf. It was the perfect spot - simple, clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable and I loved falling asleep listening to the frogs. The location is magical. Wendy was a very nice and responsive host -- always available by text but not intrusive. Thank you, Wendy - I hope to stay here again!

A good place to stay in Vermont. There is a large lawn area behind the building and the scenic view of it is very nice.

Had the best weekend away at The Loft. Only a short drive to town, we were able to easily come and go between all of our adventures and had everything we needed there. We knew we picked the right place when we arrived to a block of Cabot cheese in the fridge. Suzie was great at communicating and we (and our pups) were lucky enough to meet her. She made us all feel so welcomed, but especially our dogs who LOVED her. We usually check out different spots every time we come to Stowe but we will definitely be returning here!!

Great place, lots of room and everything someone would need to cook, bbq and sleep

We stayed for 3 months during the winter for Snowboarding season at Stowe and had an amazing time. The level of cozy is beyond words, especially while it snows. The barn has absolutely everything one needs + more. Don’t be fooled by the distance to Stowe and the ski resort! Yes, it’s not 10 mins, BUT it’s so worth it. The drive is amazing and we actually always looked forward to it and our stops at Stowe Bee and Woodland for pre and post-riding snacks. So yeah, it’s a good drive. The neighborhood is peaceful with 3 great breweries nearby, a Black Cap coffee shop location, amazing Pizza, and outstanding Thai food right down the street. 100% recommended!

This trip, I spent a week with Journey & Greg. They are wonderful people & great hosts, who happily share their homestead in a quiet neighborhood. They provide everything you need for comfort and more. I have stayed with them before & look forward to staying again.

Our second time staying at this beautiful property. The place is stunning, and Marcy and Wade are the consummate hosts. You'll be greeted by fresh-baked bread and a kitchenette filled with countless locally made treats. The level of hospitality (and the quality of the accommodations) are far beyond anything we have ever experienced at an AirBNB. Do yourself a favor and book a stay here -- and add on extra days! A spectacular home with wonderful hosts in a beautiful area, it simply can't be beat.

I enjoyed my stay at the retreat. It is a quiet, serene environment. It is very private as long as no one is staying at the adjoining unit (and even if there is, the walls are sound-proofed and you don't hear a thing.) Rosalind was a kind and helpful host. She even brought me some computer paper when I ran out! I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Absolutely a slice of heaven! I can’t tell you how magical our stay at Peace of Dirt Ranch was; it was quiet, peaceful, and chock full of great art/decor. Photos can’t possibly capture the full charm and character of this place. So much to see and discover! We didn’t want to leave! Fantastic hosts, wonderful home, and close to some really fun places. We fell in love and can’t wait to return.

wonderful stay at Hathaway! the house has so many nice touches to make our stay feel so comfortable and at ease. the open layout is wonderful, I wish we had stayed longer to enjoy even longer. definitely at the top of our list for somewhere to stay when we are back in the area!
