The popular Hauklandstranda is about 15 minutes from the rudder arch. Playing city, airport and short distance freeway to the rudder arch. If you want to try your luck in the fishing Vestfjorden, it is possible to rent a boat. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofotfisket is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and viable fishing weather.

This cozy house is originally an old school from the early 1900s. It is renovated and in good condition, while the old style is preserved. In addition, it has a fantastic location, overlooking mountains, beach and sea. The house is family-friendly, with a large fenced plot. Original Rorbu with sauna and wilderness bath

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.
