Beachfront holiday rental in Victoria Bay

This house was worth every penny, from the surroundings to the house itself, it met every expectation and more. The host is also extremely friendly so we were all happy about the experience. Highly recommended.

Every now and then you come across special places in the world, places you feel truly priveleged to be able to visit. This is one of them. It's a wonderful place to stay, it's a whole experience being there, both wild and rustic but also comfortable and set up just right. The cottage is perfect. A great space for two to share, cosy and decorated with a minimal but excellent taste, the kitchen has everything you need, be it for storing some snacks or more concerted cooking. (of, for example, delicious things you find at the nearby Sedgefield market). The area is wonderful to explore, jump in a kayak and go! And, sure, you can hear the traffic across the way, but at least in mu opinion, it just doesn't matter. Stay for as many nights as you can, you're going to want to. Watching the tide come in….watching it go out….so relaxing. Super weekend with baby, kids, grandparents and dog. Playing in the lagoon all day and enjoying the quiet splashes of the fish in the evenings. Thanks again Charles and Ryk

I have always wanted to stay @ De Branders! We loved it! The weather was bad, but we had a cozy couch with a beautiful view & amazing sounds. Definitely coming again!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Honeymoon castle. The view we woke up to every morning was the perfect way to start the day. It definitely felt like we rested with the sights of seals, lots of birds and we even saw otters the one day. Will absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to have a peaceful honeymoon or even just a vacation. We will definitely be back one day.

Stunning place. Wifi was intermittent which caused unhappy kids but everything else was awesome.

We had a fantastic stay at Peet's Place. Right on the beach for morning and evening strolls. Beautiful ocean views from the lounge/dining area, balcony and upper deck. The communal space is big enough to accommodate all guests comfortably, with the bedrooms and en-suites giving you privacy when required . The accommodation had everything we needed and more. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay and the stunning views from the balcony. The BBQ is amazing and perfect for family. We were also very happy and pleasantly surprised with the size. If you’re as lucky as we were you’ll spot the dolphins from the main bedroom window and balcony.

Beautiful place with easy access to the beach and a short drive to town. Karin and Alois were wonderful hosts.

Such a lovely apartment - three big bedrooms (one en-suite), a comfortable living area and a nice-sized kitchen area. Westley was really helpful in advising us of load-shedding times and the house is well-provisioned with lights for when the power goes. Even the WiFi kept going! The area is very safe and we walked to a great restaurant each night (The Girls) - it’s popular so you’ll need to book. The apartment is well-positioned to access several nature reserves - we particularly enjoyed Goukamma which was practically deserted. One note which isn’t really about the apartment. If you’re in Wilderness in the summer, you’ll notice a rather unusual smell right across the village. It’s from the flower of the Milkwood trees. It can be a bit off-putting until you know what it is.

This is a great location, well equipped house with a great view, squeaky clean and neat, very safe, and the host was friendly and responsive.
