Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Victoria

Priceless views and amazing architecture are showpieces of this magnificent home that combines coziness, elegance, comfort and rustic charm. We’ve stayed at many airbnbs, but this one is a new favorite. It’s an ideal getaway for the whole family; plus it’s close to interesting hikes and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for eating at home. We didn’t enjoy the taste of the well water, but bought drinking water at Tru Value. Carley was very responsive and helpful throughout. We would love to come back in the summer.

Gerry was incredibly polite and genuine throughout our stay, making it truly comfortable and enjoyable. He was very friendly and kind to us as foreign guests, responding quickly whenever we had any concerns. I believe the host's character is crucial when using Airbnb, and this place is absolutely outstanding in that regard. The house was wonderful - everything we needed was provided, and we never felt like we were missing anything. The stylish kitchen and bedrooms made us feel elegant and relaxed every day, and my entire family was completely satisfied. The surrounding area is fantastic - rich in nature and remarkably quiet both day and night. There's a playground nearby, which is great for families with young children. This was our first family trip using Airbnb, and thanks to Gerry, it was an amazing experience. Our son loved the house so much that he cried because he didn't want to leave, so we're definitely planning to come back again.

Anna’s place was a great stepping stone for our time around Victoria, BC. A private well appointed space, with all you need; we felt right at home and it suited our young family for some time to relax after a busy day. Comfy beds, a great shower and everything we needed for our two night stay . $13 uber into the city was super simple and would recommend. A great place.

Miriam was the perfect host. She was responsive and friendly and the communication was excellent. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped- there was even a sharp chef’s knife, which is a rarity in a rental property. The best thing about the house is the wonderful garden and the outdoor seating and dining areas. I loved this house!

Sky House exceeded our expectations in every way! Stunning, private location with incredible views of the water and forest. The house provided a lot of sleeping options and we enjoyed the pool table and board games. Close to hikes and trails and just a 45-minute drive from Victoria. A truly ideal, secluded vacation getaway in a gorgeous area of Vancouver Island.

Michelle's place was more than we could ask for. This place was pristine with all the amenities you could ask for. It was well situated for our needs. You can't ask for anything more. I would definitely stay there again if the occasion arose. It was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the towels so soft. I recommend this home as it truly is a home away from home.

Excellent stay here! Private everything, no shared spaces except driveway. *note: Driveway is Not flat, it's quite slanted/FYI. Kitchen is GREAT if you like cooking, LOVED gas range/gas oven, only missing a Glass dish for oven/chicken/baking. Plenty of utensils, didn't really cook a ton so can't think of anything 'missing' TERRIFIC laundry on-site, just didn't see it at first, it's behind the closet door in the foyer. Shower/bathroom is Great! Has "rain" shower heads over your head, Handy soap/shampoo/conditioner etc on a corner rack so if you forget to bring, no worries ! Counter space is good. Lighting is good. This space was built into the rear space behind garage and butts up to a rock wall at the bedroom/bathroom. Daylight comes through but the only outdoor view is living room/patio. Patio has table and 4 chairs. Only negative would be the dull thud pitter patter of a 3 yr old running around ;-) very understandable, but mostly between 3pm/4pm and 7pm-ish. Overall, a terrific stay!

Fantastic time here! Private getaway cabin with a unique outdoor sauna made this place extra special. Comfortable beds, and great space. We plan to come again :)

Having stayed at many Airbnbs in multiple countries, this is by far one of the best. The hosts, Vi & Duncan greeted us upon arrival and provided a wonderful tour. The gardens & views are breathtaking! The space had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the recommendations and all the hosts did to make our stay ideal. Loved the muffins! Thank you.

The suite was lovely and quiet, with everything we needed, and we appreciated the peaceful neighbourhood!

We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s ! The suite is close to the the Cowichan Valley Trail ( part of the Trans Canada Trail ) which we cycled for 2 days. Also close to town and restaurants and the famous totems of Duncan. Lots of lovely touches and a very comfortable bed . Would highly recommend Jane’s air bnb .

Two words gorgeous views!!! Looked forward to having my cup of coffee on Kelley & Kent’s patio every morning. A very peaceful location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ganges, but still less than five minute trip into town. Both Kelley & Kent were very welcoming and accommodating to our early check in. Their air bnb had all the amenities you could need to make you feel right at home. Beds were super comfy! I would HIGHLY recommend booking this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed! :) Enjoy!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Easy, simple and a property that exceeded our expectations. The view is second to none. The place is very comfortable and well laid out inside and out. Everything was awesome and I’d highly recommend a stay. It wil not disappoint.

Beautiful condo in a perfect location for our trip. Easy to navigate area, grocery and other necessities nearby. Absolutely peaceful environment and always felt very safe. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay to be next to downtown Victoria. It’s as advertised in the listing’s description and photos. There’s plenty of room for a couple and everything is in good condition. Washroom facilities, washer/dryer units, and wifi all worked well. We did not use any of the cooking appliances. The location is walkable to plenty of restaurants/bars in the area. We were comfortable and felt safe walking around at night; we did not have any issues with noise. Agata is a great host! Her instructions made check-in and check-out super easy. She responded within minutes anytime I messaged her. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, especially for couples, if you want to be next to downtown Victoria.

We were here for a night. We loved our stay, especially the backyard water view. We also spotted deer multiple times. The place was well cleaned and maintained.

Space was rented for a few employees who were working on the area, it served its purpose!

This house is very grand and a great stay for multiple families. Our family had a lovely stay and would recommend Mejbien’s place.

The place is amazing, and Billy was a great host. Every part of the property and accommodation is great. We especially enjoyed the private river access, sauna, and comfortable, well set up cabin. The space is also super flexible with lots to do, lots of places to hang out, and works for big groups. Finally, we loved how well prepared and clear things were in terms of pre-made fire places, instructions, etc. Great experience and hope to return for sure.

This is an absolutely stunning house with a gorgeous view and perfect location for visiting Salt Spring Island. We were 7 adults and 4 children, here for a weekend and it is well equipped for families. (High chair, cribs, etc.) We were able to walk into town from the house enjoying the Saturday market but the house location is private and pristine. There is a very cottage feeling to the place yet it is also large and elegant as well. A nice mix of experiences. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you could possibly want and the house in general is well supplied with books, games, and activities. It is large enough that you can wander off for some peaceful time on your own while at the same time, the living room and dining room could easily accommodate our numbers as well. We did find some of the furniture, while charming, a bit uncomfortable to sit in and the very firm mattress on the king bed was a bit too much for our aging backs, but that's a plus for some.

Jack’s place was great, very clean, peaceful, and quiet. The hottub was awesome, and the kitchen and tv’s / speakers and all equipment was very easy to use. All instructions were super clear. We made lots of use of the pool table! We will be coming back for sure
