Holiday rentals with breakfast in Victoria Falls

Ivor and his wife were awesome! I got a little worried when none of his phone numbers were working, but he called me from a phone and made sure things were set for me to come. He picked me up and told me how I could use taxis to get around really cheaply--even to Botswana for the Chobe tour! I regret I wasn't able to cancel my rental car. Definitely don't worry about transportation when you come. But even with my rental car, he came with me to show me around town and how to get to the parks. He even took me to the bungee jump and took pictures for me with my camera. He also took me to the market and taught me more in one night about getting to know people than I had learned in my 3 months of training in Zambia! His wife let me teach the little children for a little bit and play football with them. And he is super considerate to his guests, staying up late at night to make sure they get home safe from a night out. Honestly tho, if you are used to luxury, this isn't the place to go. But if you are more looking for a good experience and a cheap place to stay, come here!

Innocent was very responsive. The place was close to the center of Livingstone, the room was big and clean. The breakfast was also nice. The wifi was sometimes a bit slow and the bed felt a bit worn out, but it was still a good value for money.

We can really recommend to stay with Ivor and his family. They live around 2-3km from Livingstone city center which can easily be walked. The room is very simple and also the bathroom is simple with bucket shower. Ivor and his family live in the same house and there are also volonteers there sometimes. The atmosphere in the house is relaxed and the hosts are helpful and open to talk to the guests. Ivor walked us to Livingstone and showed us around which we really appreciated. One of the best things was the wonderful meals that Ivors wife prepared for us.

Since Wamunyima moved shortly before, the apartment was different than on the pictures. The new apartment is beautifully quietly located with very large and simple spaces. Wamunyima is an incredibly warm host, you can talk to her and her boyfriend about everything and learn and learn a lot from them. They are always helpful and so accommodating that you feel at home from the first moment! :) It was very difficult for us to leave and we would come back to them right away. :)

During our stay around Zimbabwe, Livingstone, Zambia and Botswana by car, Thorn tree house is our basecamp. So nice to come back every time and looking back to all experiences and making plans for the next days. Quit, beautiful, good equipped and friendly staff! Don’t miss this if you plan to go to Livingstone Zambia and surroundings!!

Do yourself a favor and book with Lesley-Anne. I felt like I was adopted into a wonderful family. The room was amazing. Sitting room with fridge, coffee and tea. Large bedroom with large comfortable bed. Large bathroom with plenty of hot water. Great a/c.and delicious breakfast. It was perfect. Lesley can book all your activities and transfers. Best Airbnb I ever stayed at.

Host is just amazing, she really made sure I was comfortable and okay. The place is what was in the pictures, great location Would recommend anyone to stay there!

Super clean , nice hosting

I recommend this accommodation to everyone who is open minded and interested in an authentic stay in a rural part of Africa. The people who live and work on the farm are very kind and hospitable. You should definitely try the food. It was amazing.

Nice place to stay

Reasonable priced lodge considering we booked last minute. Convenient & walkable location to the Livingstone town. Only issue was wifi connectivity was not strong enough in our room. Other than that great location

Very courteous, friendly and helpful host. place is around 5 minutes drive from the Victoria Falls. Our airport transfer was already pre arranged. A person in our group is physically challenged and host has provided a wheelchair for her. Called a taxi for us to take us to Victoria Falls. Excellent hospitality. Primarily designed for people on foot. I would not bring a private car.
