Briezu Station - Forest house with free tub

Atrodoties Gaujas Nacionālā parka sirdī, Briežu Stacija ir sapņu vieta tiem, kas meklē unikālu un mierpilnu pieredzi dabas tuvumā. Šis 23 m² namiņš ir celts kā moderna “Cabin in the Woods” versija – ar piecu metru augstiem griestiem, melnu parketu, plašiem logiem un skatu, kas paveras uz mežu un dabas ainavām. Briežu Stacijai apkārt nav neviena paša kaimiņa, nav mašīnu trokšņu. Briežu Stacija ir aprīkota ar saules paneļiem un savu ūdens urbumu, nodrošinot ilgtspējīgu un pašpietiekamu atpūtu.

A spacious studio-type guest house with a balcony and sauna located in a quiet private house neighborhood for 2 adults (+ a child/teenager). A studio type open living space upstairs; wc,shower and sauna downstairs. Has large windows and a balcony facing trees and a yard. A cooker, fridge, fire place, wi-fi, free parking; a washing machine. 1200 m to the city center & cafes. 700 m to walking trails along the river. Communication in Latvian and fluent English A dog and a cat may be in the yard.

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Cosy holiday house in forest

Cozy holiday house LIELMEŽI located in quiet nature 60km from Riga. Great place to enjoy silence and nature far away from city noises. House has two levels. On the ground floor there is cosy living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and sauna. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, a small hall with a balcony and toilet. Each bedroom has two single beds that can be transformed into a double bed. Or alternatively - a double bed in each bedroom can be transformed into 2 single beds.

Relax in wooden log cabin in the middle of countryside with sauna and cold dip pool included in the price. Hot tub +50 € for the whole stay. Spatious outdoors with dreamy swings under massive oak trees to soak up nature. Patios facing morning and evening sun, place for bbq. The cabin has fully equipped kitchen and modern is tastefully merged with classic values. Beautiful cities of Valmiera and Cesis with many dining and cultural entertainment opportunities a short drive away.

Treehouse Cone by the lake.

Treehouse Čiekurs(cone) is located 3 km from city Cēsis,90 km from capital Riga and located in Gauja National Park,surrounded by the pine forest.A great place to enjoy nature at its city noise,no rush,just peace.The nearest shop ~3 km. Houses with an air conditioner(heating and cooling). WC located in the separate house on the ground.You can take sauna or hot tub (available for extra payment) and take a swim in the lake. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

Essentially it’s Latvian Bathhouse with beautiful view to share with your close ones. If you want to you will have chance to experience traditional sauna (additional + 60 EUR, there is also outside hot tub available + 60 EUR and take a fresh swim in a clear pond next to bathhouse. Surrounding has view of a larger lake and if you like even take a boat ride or do fishing. Host house is 80 meters away, so you will be able to have your privacy. Experience Latvia!

Wild lovers (Forest House)

Welcome wild Nature Lovers for whom the amenities are not a primary thing and who are happy about being close to Nature. One room with 3 large panoramic windows and an all-around balcony extended with big terrace to enjoy the view of the surrounding wild Nature. For donation it is also possible to enjoy the sauna as long as you want, right there, in the embrace of the forest. You are very welcome!

Sunset Apartment

Cozy 34sq/m 5th floor apartment with a beautiful sunset view. Suitable for 1 or 2 guests. Close to several shops, bus stop, and a 10 minute walk away from the city center. Equipped with a fully functional kitchen and bathroom. Living room/bedroom has a pull-out sofa that fits 2 people. There is also free wifi, a TV, desk and iron. Free parking in front of the building or by the nearby shop.
