Holiday rentals with a kayak in Viken

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

We needed a place to disconnect during Peter Wessel Cup and this place was a perfect fit for a 🥰👏 cozy brewery with plenty of space, private from the landlord, quiet and quiet area👏 Unfortunately, we didn't meet the landlord in person, as both they and we were busy with the cup, but was a very nice and flexible landlord who was easy to communicate with.😁 Will definitely be back if we needed a place to rent in the same area👏

I was looking for a place to stay where both me and my dogs could thrive. This means that it had to be a cozy house, in an area without cars and where it would be easy to walk the dogs. Jon David's place was above and beyond, the house was big, cozy, and sparkling clean. The location was exceptional for someone who loves beautiful nature. Jon David was also helpful with everything from the moment we arrived until we left. We spent a total of 3 wonderful nights at Jon David's place.

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return! The home was clean, and well equipped. We spent all of our evenings on the deck enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous view (there was even a heat lamp to keep us warm). The home was a short drive from many hiking and biking opportunities.

We loved the house and the surroundings. House is historic, very clean and has all you need for modern life with kids. We felt really safe there. Per Wilhelm was super quick to answer and communicated with me before our trip. Ingunn showed us the place and was very nice and helpful. We recommend this house and will definitely come back :)

Lovely stay in beautiful countryside surroundings- the house had a cosy atmosphere with a tasteful collection of old and modern features put together with great care, love and a dash of fun!

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

We were very lucky to stay at the Villa Lillebo for 2 weeks. First of all, it was fantastic. When you drive onto the property, the glittering lake immediately catches your eye and you immediately feel like you are in another world. The house is equipped with everything you need and it is furnished with a lot of love down to the last detail. This of course also applies to the very well-kept outdoor area, the newly built terrace with a comfortable whirlpool and the sauna house with its own small sun terrace. We spent many beautiful hours at the barbecue area where you can enjoy the sunset over the lake by a campfire. The jetty invites you to explore the lake by boat or canoe. Checking in and out worked without any problems and communication with the lovely hosts went smoothly. Villa Lillebo is a place of tranquility, peace and harmony with nature. We stayed for 3 nights in the small house on the island and we had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay. The house is really well furnished, clean and offers a magnificent view of the lake. We were the only guests during this time and therefore had the island to ourselves. Anders has already instructed us superbly in advance and always answered questions very quickly. We had a rowing boat for the crossing. Although my partner rowed very well, the crossing after a trip to the campsite was very challenging due to strong winds. We therefore recommend renting the motor from Anders. He also offers this. We would have loved to stay longer, but we had to move on. We wish all guests the same relaxation that we were able to enjoy in Anders Haus and are happy to recommend the house and the Superhost! Fränzi & David from Switzerland

We were a group of friends that enjoyed our stay a lot! the cabin is quite close to the lake, nice outside yard for hangout and games, surrounded by nature, the kitchen was fully equiped!

The privacy you get in this place with amazing view right on the edge of a spacious terrace is just amazing The location allows an amerce experience in the natural surroundings Picked some nice yellow chanterelle in a the marked tracks in the forest were its easy for the kids to join. And the nice canoes that you can borrow to explore the lakes close by, was a perfect addition to the activities you can do there The place inside have all you need for a comfortable stay , we were three families and everyone had a lovely time, and was able to cook together with ease as the kitchen is well equipped and spacious

We spent a wonderful week in Mahsa's house, five of us with a dog. The location is unique, especially the view of the water through the pine trees. The house is super clean and lovingly furnished, we felt right at home. Mahsa is an excellent host and was always available. We will be happy to come back.

Our family had a wonderful time at this magnificent home. This is a special property, cared for with such loving detail by the owners. It has everything you need for a perfect lakeside holiday in the beautiful Swedish countryside. The views of the lake and sunset painted sky are surreal and peaceful. There are many things for guests to use, boats, kayaks, bikes, and games, stocked kitchen and BBQ! Tor has even created a walking path through the forest for guests to easily navigate right in their own backyard! The house is full of great spaces, many bedrooms/bathrooms plus common areas for relaxing in the surroundings of a majestic, pristine historical home. We feel very fortunate that they open their home to guests, it truly is a treasure. As host, Ellen was so accommodating and gracious and her attention to detail and availability to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed was evident and appreciated by us. We highly recommend this unique house by the lake and hope to return again!

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Jon's place is out of the ordinary! We have spent a wonderful weekend in a really cool house with an exciting library you can walk hours to look out for curiosity. The place has everything you need. Good bed, good sofa and all kitchen items. It was clean and tidy as well. The private garden was a plus where you could take a refreshing shower out in the open! 👌🏾 We got great hiking tips and the surrounding area is impeccable. Simply amazingly beautiful! A bathroom in the sea from a jetty just below the house we also got taken. We would be happy to come back in the future. Jon was a really nice host who welcomed us, thank you for us! ☀️

The time we spent in this place was wonderful. On the first day, we met Jenny, who told us what to expect in the area. We encountered a moose and organized a quick walk to the lake. A very pleasant detail was the small treats left by the owner. The following days were filled with family trips around the area, boating, campfires, and visits to the nearby town. Over these few days, we managed to relax, and we left the area with reluctance.

Amazing place to spend the weekend! The cabin is super clean and comes with everything you need. The surrounding is quiet, peaceful, and more importantly, very pretty! Mette and Kjell not only maintain the cabin well, but also communicate with us in a friendly and proactive manner. Thank you for the nice experience! Overall, 10/10 and would love to come back again

A beautiful summer cottage next to a beach, with a magnificent view and a quiet area. The kids went swimming or paddling in the sea daily. Directly from the house there are beautiful hiking opportunities. The region is absolutely worth discovering, with charming villages and towns such as Langesund, Kragerø, and Brevik. The islands, such as Langøya and the islands at Kragerø, are also worth a visit. Recommended a little further up is Svenner fyr. The region is perfect for swimming, boat trips, walks, cozy restaurants,.... The house itself is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort, with several sunny places to relax around the house. Jannike and Ola gave us good tips for excursions in the area and were always available. The reservation was also very smooth. We had a fantastic holiday in a beautiful setting. Absolutely recommended!

Good communication with Tore and he responded quickly. A great home that we enjoyed very much. The house was very nice and clean, and the location and area was quiet and good. You have everything you need for cooking, relaxing and various activities for a family or two. Very nice and kind hosts. We would gladly came again😊.

Beautiful place in the middle of nature. The cottage has everything you'll need. Rune is extremely helpful and quick to respond. We felt completely at home. You can catch perch and trout in the lake; there are a lot of blackberries (nice for the pancakes), a blackberry bush and plum tree, delicious! There is a compost toilet and the water from the tap is not drinkable; but there was water in jerry cans ready. You have to assemble the shower yourself (hot water in a container and attach the automatic shower) but has its charm so outside showering in nature

We loved our stay here! We want to return. The house has big windows, and you can enjoy the scenery right from the house. I’ll never forget the beautiful sunset & sunrise that we got to enjoy while staying here. This house is so perfect. Thank you Michael for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The stay at the Bua was really fantastic! The location right in the marina is beautiful. If something more is going on, of course it will be a little less quiet, but we were very lucky! It is definitely worth booking the boat and exploring the surrounding area via water, which was an absolute highlight for us. Overall highly recommended. We knew in advance that you have to use the shower of the marina and climb a steep staircase to the bedroom. 😊 We were very happy and would come back at any time!

Visited with a group of 9 guys and it was just perfect. Ideal cabin for the group size, sauna and jacuzzi on the deck were perfect, enough space and even kayaks and SUPs to explore the lake. Can highly recommend!
