Former fishing house on two floors with private courtyard. Architectural highlights in Moroccan style. Located in the beautiful old town center of Salema. The excellent beach is less than a one minute walk away. From the entrance you can access the open kitchen, living and dining area overlooking the oasis-like courtyard, which is attractively decorated with high-quality stone work. A small decorative pool (not for swimming) completes the cozy ambience. With a book in hand and feet in the cold water basin, you can relax and recharge your batteries on hot summer days. The bathroom with double shower and shower toilet is located on the first floor of the house. The two open bedrooms upstairs are each equipped with a queen-size bed under the cozy sloping ceiling. Each bedroom has direct access to the sun terrace with lounge furniture. A great night's sleep. You can hear the wind in the palm trees and the surf in the distance. Guests have access to all areas, as they rent the entire house. For all questions, we are reachable (mail and telephone) and have people on site who can look after the house and be helpful. Within 100 meters there are restaurants, bars, shops, rental of kayaks and paddle boarding and freshly caught fish are sold. Salema is a charming fishing village. From the beach, excursions by boat are offered. In the hinterland, the Monchique mountain range beckons with healing springs. Other activities include horseback riding, yoga, various water and amusement parks, water sports such as sailing, jet skiing or surfing. At Cabo de Sao Vincente you can experience wonderful sunsets.

A pleasant and superior quality decor designed for your maximum comfort. All apartments are cozy and with lots of light. We have an outdoor pool, fitness center and sauna. Pets are allowed at an additional cost and under certain conditions: pets up to 10 kg are €5 per night and pets over 10 kg are €8 per night. Conditions for pets to stay in the apartments: pets cannot be left alone in the apartments, pets are not allowed in the pool area, pets must always be on a leash when outdoors, and the utensils in the apartments must not be used to feed the pets.

Casas de Sagres - 2 bedrooms, ocean view

“Casas de Sagres” means “Houses of Sagres” as they have always been referred to in the family, when they were built in the early 70’s. They are sited by the beach of Martinhal, in Sagres, in the Southwest of Portugal. There are 5 small houses (4 with sea view) surrounded by pine trees and a beautiful garden, in a very quiet and still isolated area, facing the sea, in a perfect match with nature. They are about 200 meters from the ocean and 10 minutes walking distance from the village of Sagres.

The recently rebuilt house is situated on a quiet dead-end street on the main road, where most of the shops, restaurants and cafés of the village can be found. The family beach Mareta is a 5-minute walk away and the surfing beach Tonel at 10 minutes. The house is modern and spacious with lots of light and has a living and dining area on the ground floor, a toilet with shower and an open kitchen with all necessary equipment and bar. Upstairs you’ll find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

Apartment 12, Dona Vitória is a “love at first sight” style studio. Spacious, luminous and of an immense lightness, it opens on the sea and was designed for dreamers. Consisting of a kitchen with everything for a few days vacation, a living room with sea view and two double sofa beds, fireplace, TV and Wi-Fi. Upstairs the mezzanine bedroom has a double bed perfect for falling asleep listening to the sea. The spirit of this studio is a relaxed and fun space, where it is easy to be happy.

You’ll love my place because it is in the heart of Burgau fishing village and is ideally located for the beach, nearby restaurants and the Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. Its a great base for those who want to explore the region, with Lagos and the West coast only a short drive away. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), surfers, walkers and nature lovers.

My place is close to the Mysushi Restaurant and Salema Tours, in the center of Salema. Casa Amarelinha is located 30 meters from the beach, which has very clean waters, is monitored, wheelchair accessible, has first aid, and a blue flag. It is ideal for family activities, walks, water activities, or even a game of golf. There are supermarkets, souvenir shop, kiosk, bars and terraces. All are welcome.
