I want to thank Dona Susana for the wonderful welcome, we literally felt at home. We will definitely be back and I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a moment of peace and relaxation. Thanks to Dona Susana and Mr. Tomás.

The house is renovated and very comfortable, we would like to have noticed by the description that the outside area is far from the house.

The absolute Comfiest bed in the most serene surroundings. A must needed respite after a multi-day festival. The church bells and the mewling cows brought peace and joy to my soul.

We travelled in a group of 5 , 2 couples +1 adult. The host living in the next house seems only speak Portuguese but very friendly. You can write in English via messaging apps. Communication was not an issue at all

From the absolutely extraordinary house, to the scenery that seems to come from a movie, to Mr. Manuel who left us speechless of so friendly and dear that he is. There is no better place than this to rest, and we leave thinking about the time to return. The photographs do not make juz to the place at all… Very spacious house, we were in a T1 and there was a lot of space, well decorated, very modern, with an amazing outdoor space, it is simply magical to go to the balcony and only listen to the birds. Thank you Lúcia and thank you to Mr. Manuel, who made this stay fantastic and to wish you back!

The apartment is superbly equipped and super clean. The pool is great. Carla took great care of us. We will be happy to come back.

What a WONDERFUL stay at this charming farmhouse! From the moment we arrived it was perfect! The property is so beautiful with its lovely gardens, fruit trees & the view of the mountains. We spent the majority of our time, when we were not out exploring, enjoying the pool & having all our dinners outside under the covered outdoor grilling area. We took advantage of the grill & enjoying pizza (yes, there is a fabulous pizza oven!). The house was so comfortable, clean & the kitchen had everything we needed & more. Carlos & Christina are stunning hosts....so kind & friendly & gave us so many suggestions of what to do in the area...restaurants, villages, waterfalls, etc. We CAN'T WAIT to return! Obrigada for a wonderful stay! (note - if you are driving be mindful as directly accessing the property can be tight if you have a larger car)

Accommodation with great conditions to receive 5 people. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated, with a phenomenal view of the Cávado River. Well-equipped kitchen. We were able to prepare full meals without any problems. The location, right next to the river, allows us to be surrounded by nature. The host's readiness to respond to any questions or requests throughout the stay should be emphasized.

We had a great three-day stay. The place was private, with a spacious bedroom, balcony, and two bathrooms. It was perfect for our dog — we could walk him off-leash in the village. We all enjoyed drinking the cool, fresh water from the mountain fountain! The lake access was a nice bonus. The host was very welcoming and gave great local recommendations. A relaxing and comfortable stay overall! :)

If you want an escape from a busy city life, that's your place. Georgous, little, stone house with the view to cry for. There is very little movement and the only noises are those by the birds and bees. The streets are super narrow, so the smaller the car the better. There is only a small local shop in the village, so stock up before arriving.

We have had an excellent time. The town of Gerês and São Bento da Porta Aberta provided a quiet visit to Gerês and São Bento da Porta Aberta. Great location with restaurants and mini-markets nearby so we can make/have lunch. The house allows us to go hiking or long runs in the middle of nature observing small streams and beautiful landscapes. It was a very good experience. The house was in great condition and has all the conditions to receive families. Thanks to Sara who guided us in our stay and who didn't let us miss anything.

The home was exactly as pictured, gorgeous views, & pool/home were clean with nice furnishings. There were the expected and unexpected amenities (throw blanket, clothing dry rack, BBQ tools, pool shower, towels for 6, hangers, coffee and sugar). The rooms were bright and sunny, with electrically switched storm shutters to 100% block out sun/street light. Besides the basics, the kitchen included dish rag, sponge, towels, an expresso maker, French press, electric water kettle, decent knives, and the all important wine opener. Europe is not big on paper towels, and we didn't find them here nor at the market (weird). As planned, we were in a slightly remote, quiet area, away from tourists. We enjoyed the town of Vieira do Minho for meals & shopping and some lovely hikes 45min drive away. Paulo was a great host - accommodated our late arrival, met us for a property tour, responded promptly, and was helpful during a short power outage. Loved our stay - hope to return!

It was a very incredible experience, the landlords were very flexible with the schedules and inside the house it was great to spend time there and cook.

Very flexible host, both at check-in and check-out. Amazing view, very good location. We had a good afternoon at the pool with Ana Leonor's two loving little dogs. Pleasant and we are full of enjoyment. We appreciate the availability, we will definitely be back.

The accommodation has everything you need to spend a few good days exploring the Peneda-Gerês National Park area and you can quickly reach the main attractions. If you travel by your own vehicle, parking should not be a problem. We were able to park easily at the door of the accommodation. The host is friendly, gave some directions and check-in is super flexible, which for us is a plus. In terms of cleanliness, everything was super ok and the information provided corresponds to what is provided. The great value for money is worth highlighting!

Incredible place - serenity on a mountainside. We had the pleasure of staying at Tiago's place as the surrounding forest turned orange in line with the season Tiago went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, can only recommend this place

Amazing place photos do not do it justice as beautiful views and so peaceful Ana was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Although English was not first language was so flexible and friendly.

we have just returned from a 10 day stay at this villa , and all I can say is that this villa is absolutely stunning with a mountain view , inside is finished to a very high standard inside set in beautiful surroundings , the host Nuno is more than happy to help and advise you while you stay there , we absolutely loved our stay there and would definitely be coming back , amazing villa

We loved our stay! The house was great, except for a room that had no window and the ceiling was extremely low. Other than that, I have nothing to complain about. The neighbors are two very dear elderly people, they were extremely friendly and helped us. They didn't care about the noise, on the contrary, it made us feel even more at ease. António answered me quickly every time I needed help with something. It was a great experience, I highly recommend!
