The cottage is connected to the village of Sönnerhult but in a private location so you only see the village from a distance. Suitable for everyone in a village that has everything from Astrid Lindgren's world to excursion destinations in the Hultsfred Festival's tracks. In the nearby area, there is an elk park, swimming areas, summer cafes, adventure park, Emil i Lönnebergas Katthult and farm shops.

Possibility to borrow a boat. 25-30 minutes by car to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's World and Bullerbyn. 35 minutes to Eksjö wooden town, about 12 km to Mariannelund. (nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Bring your family and friends for a cozy and different overnight stay at Övrarps loge. Here you sleep in the haystack, play table tennis, socialize and feed rabbits/goats. There is space for 10 people and the possibility to rent a sleeping bag/sheet. There are 8 beds, two of which are double beds. In addition, there is also a sofa bed for two people. The cabin is about 300 sqm equipped with a hay barn, kitchen, electricity, toilet, shower, small charcoal grill and charging post for electric car. Smoking and candles in the cabin are totally prohibited.

From the cottage there are many excursion destinations and attractions, about 20 minutes to Astrid Lindgren's World and Nossenbadet in Vimmerby, about 40 minutes to Västervik. NOTE! A car is a must to get to the cottage as public transport is not available.

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.
