House holiday rentals in Viseu District

Lisbon was nice, but our vacation started here. Having this beautiful home and a car, we explored the region and had a great time. Owners recommendations led to our favorites experiences on the trip. Can't recommend enough. The pics don't do it justice either, and the pics are amazing.

We can’t say enough about how magical our stay was. The unit is adorable and so unique. We loved the setting- the vineyards, the birds. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The sunset was glorious. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat. There is only one air conditioner in one bedroom, which in conjunction with a fan did a reasonable job of keeping the house cool on a very hot day. The kitchen is fine for light cooking.

A great location in the countryside 45 minutes from Porto and 2 hours from Pinhão. Beautiful scenery , hiking around. Home is on a hill with amazing views of the Douro River. Beautiful outdoor space with outdoor kitchen and a small pool. Excellent for family vacation.

Amazing property and view. We had a terrific time. The property worked great for our group. Best sunset! Marco and his crew were extremely responsive. Driving in the Douro Valley is not for the faint of heart. We had a ball!

Hello Mr. Pedro! We would like to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well cared for and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. That made all the difference! We really feel at home and very well received and relaxed. We will recommend it and will undoubtedly return at the next opportunity! Many thanks for everything! Maria's home is a hidden gem! It is an absolutely beautiful location. The views do not even seem real; the photos do not do it justice. You are nestled in the valley and feel like part of nature. The home itself is so cozy, kitchen with everything you could ever need, and a cozy sitting area. There are large windows all across the valley view side of the house, so you can literally see the gorgeous view from wherever you are. The outside area is equally beautiful. I saved the best for last: the unbelievable hospitality of our hosts. I have never met such kind people. From the welcome upon our arrival, to the communication we had through messaging, we were met with nothing but extreme kindness. Thank you so much, Maria and Maria!! You have my highest recommendation.

If you searching a spot that is quiet, with beautiful views, your private area to relax, than this is definitely the right place. The house is lovely and everything is available what is needed. The surrounding on the Quienta is nice to do small walks and the pool has the right size to get a refreshment. Hugh and the others are great hosts, explained well the way to get to the Quinta and answered quickly in case of questions. We would love to come back and enjoy this place again.

We spent a few wonderful days in this house and were absolutely delighted! The house is very clean, well maintained and cozy, you can see that it is really taken care of. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail — there were many useful things in the house that made life more comfortable and convenient. A special pleasure is the spacious terrace with a stunning view. In the mornings, we had breakfast outdoors, enjoying the silence and beauty around. Everything around was very quiet and peaceful — the perfect place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Hosts are a special thank you! Very friendly, attentive and always ready to help. It was easy and pleasant to communicate with them. This house has become a real cozy corner for us, and we will be happy to come back again!

This is an extremely comfortable place to stay in a beautiful part of Portugal. The Douro Brothers are great hosts. Everything was in order and all we had a very nice time. Muito Obrigado!

Historic house maintained in very good taste. We were very well received and the communication with the host was great. Everything was very clean. Very comfortable and cozy house, nothing was missing, we felt at home! We miss the house and the environment that surrounds it. Thank you for everything!

The house is still better than it looks in the photos and description. Large and comfortable, with all that may be needed. Outside space is great, we were 10 people and there were spaces for everyone, the deck has wonderful views where we spend the afternoons and space for the kids to play and play in the ball. The beds were comfortable and as they were on the upper floor allow a separation of noise on the lower floor. Carlos has always been available, was a great host, with quick responses and always available. it is a place to return in a group.

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

Simply fantastic! We had an amazing stay at Rui and Marisa's house. Everything was impeccably clean, well cared for and decorated with good taste and attention to detail. We felt at home from the very first moment. We loved the jacuzzi and, of course, the fireplace space, which made the nights even more special. Everything was designed to provide comfort and memorable moments. Note the affection with which everything was prepared! We recommend it 100% and hope to return in the future. Quiet location (which was what we wanted), excellent house, views, spacious (inside and outside/garden), lots of extras/gifts from the host, who was impeccable. I recommend it and we'll possibly return with warmer temperatures.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! A big thank you to José and Cecilia for hosting us! Their kindness, their desire to share ... We loved this studio (quite large anyway) perched on the heights with a GREAT VIEW Cecilia's jam, and their porto a delight I highly recommend it for a quiet stay and enjoy the region and its landscapes as it should be!

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone else. Thank you for the hospitality António!

Linhares da Beira and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to visit. The villa is perfect- well worth the money spent! Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We braved the pool even though the weather was a bit cold for the time of year. Thanks to Linda and Helena for everything.

This beautiful home and its warm and welcoming hosts made our visit to Mões and Castro Daire a peaceful and relaxing one. Both Sandra and Manuel were friendly and helpful. I speak mostly English, but Sandra was able to communicate with me exceptionally well. Manuel shared a little history of the home and area, which helped us appreciate the charm and tranquility even more. The home, which is an old, repurposed chapel had every amenity we could need, was clean, and had comfortable furniture and beds. Every detail was perfect. It's an absolutely beautiful and comfortable place to stay! Loved it!
