We stayed in this house with a group of 8 people, and it was perfect for us. The area is very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful mountains. The house was clean and well-kept. The host was incredibly helpful and provided clear instructions on how to use all the equipment in the house. You’ll find everything you need here—from dishes to towels and bed linens. The price was very reasonable compared to other Airbnb options in the area. If we had the chance, we would definitely come back. Thank you for the warm welcome!❤️

The home is characterized by being outdated, but this was in a previous review and was something we were prepared for. Otherwise, the host always responded quickly to questions and there was enough room for everyone in the traveling party (3 adults, 2 youngsters, 2 children). We had everything we needed for a nice weekend in Volda.

We enjoyed our stay at Irenegaarden and would love to come again. Lauvsted is an adventurous place, it is easy to use the ferry to and from Volda. The house is cozy furnished, especially we enjoyed the covered terrace and sauna. In the house is everything you might need, otherwise Frode comes with things that you didn't even know you were missing. Lauvsted and surrounding area are more beautiful than beautiful and offer all kinds of nature experiences. Frode and Silje are the perfect hosts and some totally exceptionally welcoming and friendly people.

This Airbnb was meant to be the highlight of our Norwegian trip, and even though it rained and we had high expectations of the view, the view did not disappoint. The view was absolutely incrediable and if you have the chance to stay here, we cannot speak highly enough of the property and Ingar and Liv. My parents needed to know whether there would a coffee machine, and Ingar and Liv went above and beyond and sent us the English instruction booklet for their specific machine. We also got to meet them as they were nearby and we had such a nice chat. We hope to be back one day! 10/10!

I spent 4 days with my family a beautiful cottage from the inside , matching the pictures I wish I would visit me in winter time with the snow the place would be so great, and the host was very responsive Note : We had a little difficulty in getting to the site , but the place is very convenient for people who want to stay and enjoy nature without going out too much. There is also a 50 kronor toll road for each permit Air conditioning controlled by host only snapping and running which made the subject a bit difficult

Lovely cabin on lovely Urke. Nice bathroom and nice and practical kitchen. lovely view from terrace and dining room. Large garden with lawn. Very nice with an annex with extra accommodations and private bathroom. Here you have everything you need for a wonderful stay in Urke! Also very positive that the hosts provided good information, were proactive and responded quickly when I had any questions.

A splendid view in a comfortable, peaceful and very well oriented apartment. Nature is magnificent! As a bonus, we enjoyed the puzzles and games present.

I had a great time here! Great nature and area. Great location if you want to speed around Stadtlandet.

My son Alex was the actual guest and here is his commentary on his stay (since Airbnb doesn’t allow him to write a comment himself). Spoiler alert : it was a very good experience ! From Alex and Marilou « Our sincere thanks to Venise & Gaby for their warm welcome to this comfortable, carefully decorated tiny house, full of personality. 
The view over the fjord completes the magic already offered by the cabin. Moreover, we were able to enjoy the surrounding mountains and snow-covered forest during a wonderful walk. And Gaby offered to take us by car, giving us all the advice we needed. This is just one example of the many times they were there to help us make the most enjoyable experience possible. As an added bonus, we were able to taste their homemade beer, served with small snacks. It was perfect for a little Halloween movie night after the sauna !

Awesome and charming house 😊 Well equipped with what you need to stay. A little secluded place, but by car it's not a problem! Delightful with hot tubs 👌 Never met the host, but easy to communicate with her on message, she responded quickly if there was anything we were wondering about. The stay is recommended by us, we are happy to book again if we are going to the area at a later date!

An excellent place and awesome host. Everything went well and we are happy, what spent time in this place.

Words can’t describe how beautiful this place was. Surrounded by tall mountains that can be seen easily from the large windows inside the house and as you step outside, one side of the house has a view of mountains and a waterfall on the other side. The house was very spacious and very clean upon arrival - it also had all of the required amenities. Hilde was also very responsive when i asked her questions . We stayed for three nights but i wish I had booked a longer stay at this place. Would definitely recommend this place to others who are visiting Norway and hope to stay here again in the future 🙂

A wonderful cabin experience! We had a wonderful stay and are incredibly happy! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and comfortable. The cabin was sparkling clean, tidy and very well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for us, with beautiful nature just outside the door and good opportunities for both trips and relaxation. The host(Lisa and Hallbjørn) have been absolutely superb – they were helpful and made sure we had everything we needed❤️. Their attention to detail really made it. We spent a spectacular night and morning. The location, in the middle of the fjord, was magical. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. We even got into the water. Anders couldn't have been nicer, helping us with everything we needed and more. We'll be back.
