The Pool House on the lake has several great features and is more the just a lake house. The house sets on a 5 acres wooded lot with a private gated drive. The 1950s home has the original bathrooms and kitchen but has been updated with great wifi ( for work or school) and new HD TVs through out. The view to the lake is one of a kind with its own private sandy beach and fire pit. No matter what the weather is there's something to do because this house also has a heated indoor pool(all year long).

This cottage has been remodeled in a fun and fresh fashion, complete with an artist studio. The house is in the historic district of Wabash. You’re one block away from multiple restaurants, movie theater, farmers market, boutiques & more! There is a train that passes behind the house multiple times per day and night, as in the case with most homes in the historic area. But we’ve installed acoustic grade windows in the bedroom to help buffer the train horn.

Stayed here for a long family weekend. We all absolutely loved the space and how peaceful it was. Checking in and out was a breeze. The kids had plenty of space to play both inside and outside. First, it was a value, the stay was worth what we paid. There are a couple of things I would point out. The unit is on the second floor of a farm implement business. The shop is attached, so, during business hours you may hear the banging and clatter from the shop area, along with noises from downstairs. I checked the description again to make sure, but I do not see a reference to stairs. The unit is on the second floor and requires stairs to get there. Not a problem for me, but if you have limited mobility, be advised. Advertised is a full kitchen, but there is a hot plate, microwave and fridge, along with a small single sink. One could cook a meal here, but it would not be convenient. The HVAC is controlled from the office below. Think of a dorm or office. If you like to adjust your environment, you have to do it with fans and window. The shower is super TINY. TL:DR the vibes are a former office space converted to a BnB. Functional, not glamorous, still a value.
