Stayed for a week and would book again if ever in the area! Great serene location if you enjoy the countryside. Ended up needing to book an extra few days mid stay and Shane was super quick to respond and very accommodating.

Hideaway Hollow - A Woodsy Getaway

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Hideaway Hollow is wonderful place in so many ways. The living/bed/bath rooms are all spacious and comfortable. There are lots of thoughtful touches (local coffee and soaps and artwork) and layouts (liked having a breakfast table to use for morning coffee and a desk in the bedroom to do some writing on). The woodsy and peaceful setting is great and just a pleasant 15 minute drive from campus and town. Kudos to Kelly and Clark for their fine hospitality and providing/sharing such a nice space!

Morchella Hideaway

KristinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Morchella Hideaway is a true sanctuary, offering the perfect escape from the demands of daily life. Surrounded by nature's beauty, I found myself immersed in its peaceful sights and sounds. Adding to the atmosphere was the wildlife. Deer wandered gracefully, raccoons snuffled, owls called in the night, and even the distant echoes of coyotes could be heard. The gentle murmur of the river added to the serenity, creating a soothing backdrop for reflection and rest. I even saw my first firefly of the season! This hideaway is ideal for disconnecting from the outside world and simply embracing the moment. Chris is an exceptional host who is attentive, patient, and always quick to provide thoughtful responses. His hospitality enhances the experience, making every visitor feel truly welcomed. For anyone seeking a space to relax, heal, and recharge, I wholeheartedly recommend Morchella Hideaway.

Bourbon Trail Cabin!~hot tub~hiking~game shed!

WendyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at cabin was very peaceful we tried to enjoy all of the amenities unfortunately ran out of time. Everything was perfectly labeled, and you can tell host thought of everything even the smallest details. Cabin was very clean and if you were looking for a getaway to unwind this is a great spot. Drive to popular Distilleries is about 20-25 minutes across a winding road so be prepared with food and snacks since there are no stores near, and you probably don't want to drive the road after those bourbon tours.

Relax & Recharge @ Fox Creek Retreat

RyanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a small family gathering to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The property is excellently maintained. Quiet and peaceful. Our favorite thing to do was to sit on the back deck, read, and listen to the birds in the woods. Lots of things to do on the property for both adults and kids. Within a 10-15 minutes drive to the little neighboring town that has a lot of small shops and restaurants to visit. Great spot for a long weekend away!
