Holiday rentals with beach access in Wadduwa

Would definitely return again to Faahim’s in a heartbeat. The Airbnb really felt like home and all the facilities for my family were great. Faahim and his father are so friendly and we really enjoyed the stay.

Spent almost a month at this Airbnb,. Amazing place, the beach is just a few meters away and my family loved it. The apartment is well maintained and easily accessible. Very safe for families to stay. We just loved every minute of our stay. The host was very accomodative and responsive. I had an issue with the ACs, was fixed in almost no time. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night before our flight home, but we have very fond memories of our stay at Mahagedara! At first, we had a little trouble finding the place, but we quickly received all the necessary directions. The apartment is very spacious and well-maintained. The rooms have air conditioning and fans. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and two bathrooms (one connected to a bedroom), along with clean towels and bed linens. The view from the window was fantastic, and the balcony was very large. Additionally, there is access to a rooftop pool with a breathtaking view. We also received numerous recommendations for nearby restaurants and must-visit places. I highly recommend it, and I hope to return someday!

Peter was an amazingly proactive and helpful host, more than happy to give help and advice and answer any questions. The apartment was just as described. Very comfortable with good facilities and a perfect mix of being on a relatively quiet street with sea views but so close to amenities and transport options.

It was a very wonderful stay, the overall feeling is very nice to see the sea👍🏻 in the bed, I also saw a super beautiful sunset on the first day, with the sound of the waves every night with this natural white noise the🛌 host also prepared the fruit, very delicious😋 It's a bit of a distance from the central scenic spot,🛺 5 minutes by tuk-tuk to the town, but that's great because a lot of attraction salesmen can be avoided All in all it was great and my friend and I really wanted to keep staying

Undoubtedly the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. The place was stylish, gets lots of light, and is super quiet and peaceful at night. The area is a little outside of the main part of colombo but you can easily get an uber into the centre for just 500rs, and the benefit is that you’re in a nice leafy suburb with some great local restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be staying again!

Had a great stay doing a workaway at Amila’s place. Good bang for the buck. Close to beach. Also close to railroad tracks but fortunatrly trains don’t run throughout the night. Wonderful garden and keeper of garden was very attentive and nice. Can recommend!

I recently stayed at White Villa and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The host, Lalith, was incredibly friendly and allways willing to help. It was a pleasure talking with him. The location of the Villa is ideal, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. The atmosphere of the place was pleasent and welcoming. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend White Villa to anyone looking for a great place to stay close to Balapitiya.

We had a lovely time at the property, would definitely visit and stay again. Very friendly staff and plenty of freedom and privacy. Couple of things to note, there is only one fridge for the 5 rooms we stayed at, and only one bath tub in the 5 rooms. Food was good, there are some nice shacks near by. location is excellent.

Our stay at Anja's place was amazing! Even before we arrived, Anja provided us with valuable tips for our Sri Lanka trip, which helped us a lot and took our initial concerns. We were able to check in earlier for a small extra charge and were warmly welcomed. Eranga, who takes care of the house, prepared us a delicious lunch according to our wishes – a perfect start after a long journey! The house is very well equipped. The two rooms on the ground floor each include a private bathroom. Living room, kitchen and terrace are also on one level. Our children loved the pool, which is an ideal size and surrounded by beautiful palm trees. We were able to use the pool completely privately. The highlight was the roof terrace with a fantastic view of the sea and breathtaking sunsets. We highly recommend Anja's place. Thank you for everything.

Loved the villa! Right on the beach. Spacious. Loved the simple, elegant interiors, and the muted lighting. We all had a great time in the pool by the beach. The speaker is awesome. Jaan was always prompt in responding. And they proactively informed us that we could check out late as they had no booking on that day - thank you Jaan. The local caretaker Gayan, who lives nearby, comes every day to clean the pool and was helpful. He also drives a tuktuk himself. He came to check on us a few times despite his son being unwell - thank you Gayan. There is a supermarket at a walking distance and a restaurant (called A2). The main town, restaurants, touristy shops are less than 3 kms away and tuktuks are very easily available for hire (the pickme app worked like a charm). We stayed during the off season, so it is quite likely that during the peak season, there are beachfront restaurants and bars operational at a walking distance from the villa.

We had a wonderful full month in the villa. Everything was perfect and the surrounding nature absolutely breathtaking. I really enjoyed the new equipment, vacuum cleaner, ricecooker, washing machine. Uncle Sirisena was always there to make sure everything was right for us and was adorable. An exceptional man. The pool was maintained on a daily basis. I am immensely grateful for this rich immersive experience in the middle of nature. We were able to observe lots of beautiful birds, monkeys, butterflies... It was perfect and we left with tears in our eyes. The only negative aspect, if it was necessary to mention one, is the second morning 8am, a call from Annalene ( wife of one of the owners) who wanted to extract additional money from us because my mother and I did not occupy the same room, yet I paid for the entire place at the time of my reservation.

Am booked in for one week, only a five min walk to the beach. It’s ideally located and has a great open space garden area. You don’t hear any traffic only the sounds of mother nature. The room is spacious and the en suite bathroom has a nice shower. A kettle and basic crockery are provided. There’s ample storage space, plug sockets and space to hang your clothes. It’s very affordable and immaculately clean. The mattress is very comfortable and the ceiling fan keeps you cool throughout the night. There’s a washing machine on the property and the host is very accommodating and kind. The dogs greet you upon returning home. Chathura the host has expert knowledge of the surrounding area and is only too happy to assist you. He’s the consummate host, a well deserved five stars.

We had a marvellous time at Dom’s place. Great location - right on the beach. Definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Kanishka airbnb. The location was fantastic with easy rides with PickMe. Kanishka was very responsive and easily sorted out any minor issues that came up. Would love to stay here again in the future

I stayed in the guest cottage on a lovely private (gated) property full of jungly trees, birds, and monkeys! Eva has built a paradise. It was wonderful to walk down to yoga a few times. Overall it's exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet (except for all the bird chatter, but that was lovely). Also the staff are so lovely and helpful and smiling. Just a reminder that there's no AC, and you are in the jungle so be obsessively clean in the kitchen (hello ants) and don't let the little lizards scare you. I named one Fred. :). If the wifi doesn't work, just find the wifi repeater and ensure it's plugged in, and ta da, the signal perks right up. Highly recommend.

Great views of the ocean and it’s a nice cozy apartment with decent amenities! The host Susan, is always responsive.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The view is absolutely breathtaking, waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out over the ocean each day was a true highlight. The space was spotless and well maintained, with a modern, clean aesthetic and beautiful flooring that added a cozy touch. The location was very convenient, close to everything I needed. On top of that, the host (Heshan) was incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. The stay in this apartment was great all around! The location is ideal – in just 2–3 minutes walk you are on the beach, and in the other direction you can quickly get to the city. Restaurants, shopping and public transport are all very close. The train stops right outside the front door, and with Uber you can be in the city center in less than 10 minutes. The apartment itself is quiet, especially at night, which ensures a good night's sleep. Check-in was completely smooth, and communication with Shiffan was easy and enjoyable at all times. A real highlight was the balcony – sitting there in the evening and looking out at the water was pure luxury. I can really recommend this place from the bottom of my heart – we felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the flat was great - really spacious, clean and modern. The view was incredible also, and the aircon worked really well. Sathii was very quick at responding to any queries. I am already planning to revisit here when I am back in Sri Lanka. Thank you

Tusitha is a warm friendly and gracious host. The accommodation offered was comfortable, extremely clean and spacious - certainly for two adults. The assortment of grocery items enabled us to settle into the property with ease. There is adequate parking inside the property for a vehicle. Restaurant options close by are good. It was an absolute please to be at the Hope Residence for our short visit to Colombo. We would certainly stay here again, if the need arises. Thanks Tusitha for your warm hospitality.

Ahmed and Shaira were very helpful and accomodating. The place was lovely, the view from the rooftop pool is awesome, and the place is in a fantastic location. Security was also top notch.
