Beachfront holiday rental in Wadduwa

This cute little Bijoux is perfect to stay. Especially if you like to cook your own food. The small kitchen is Well equiped and the service was great. we had a great stay in this house and the houseowner was fully servicing and gave us one of the best services. We had a small Flu and even then he supported us with food delivery. Thanks a lot to the servant.

Hôte très respectueux et très flexible niveaux horaires, le dialogue est fluide et toujours attentif à la moindre gêne occasionnée (coupure de courant dû à un orage par exemple, entretien de la piscine tous les jours, etc…) Endroit chaleureux, paisible et à proximité des restaurants… Personnellement, ça ne nous a pas dérangé de marcher 10-15mn et tout le long il du chemin il y avait le choix du restaurant et on a pu trouver ce qu’on cherchait. Merci Chanaka pour ton accueil chaleureux et ton sourire… Tu as une good vibes qui nous a plu mes amis et moi…. Je recommande avec grand plaisir 🙏🏽😎🤙🏽

It was a pleasure to stay here. We had everything we needed. Nihal helped a lot: with transfers, sightseeing, food, house, etc. We didn't have any problems. He's a great host! I highly recommend it!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne woche am sauberen ruhigen strand. Sind jede nacht mit dem rauschen der wellen eingeschlafen. Das frühstück konnten wir uns auf nachfrage individuel zusammen stellen lassen. Uns wurde mit salz, pfeffer und öl zum kochen ausgeholfen. Sowie mit zusätzliches datenvolumen für das wlan. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Haben die zeit dort sehr genossen!!! Karo und thorge

We have just got home after our trip to the Tropical Beach House in Hikkaduwa. What a totally lovely time away. Great communication with Gavin prior to the visit and out in touch with Darmith (house keeper) and taxi transport for arrival. We arrived at 2am to be met by Darmith and Saji (security) and felt at home straight away. Darmith had collected fridge essentials before we arrived so we were set up for the following morning. The house and gardens are lovely, the sound of the ocean 24/7 is just perfect and the house was spotlessly clean with good facilities. Sangrita helped to provide us with Sri Lankan breakfast foods, loved the Dahl curry and the hoppers but also gave us an awesome Brit breakfast of eggs and bacon! Chandra was on hand at night to cook a bbq which was tasty and varied. We used Tuk tuks to get out and about during our stay which were easy to find. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Lots of local bars and eateries along the beach or further into Hikkaduwa.

Мы провели здесь месяц – это почти идеальное место! Интернет идеальный для работы, в т.ч. с видеозвонками. Удобная кровать с новым матрасом. Ванная комната – восторг! Туалет и душ отделены друг от друга, а горячая вода – это действительно горячая вода в безлимитном количестве и с великолепным напором. На кухне есть все, кроме турки для приготовления кофе, но это мелочь. С собаками мы подружились и часто играли. Они действительно лают, но только когда кто-то приходит, что в нашем случае происходило очень редко. Хозяева – прекрасные люди, общаться по всем вопросам было легко и приятно. Между нашими и соседними апартаментами нет шумоизоляции за счет тонкой двери в смежной стене. Мы сняли и эти апартаменты тоже и использовали их как отдельный рабочий кабинет. Когда на виллу кто-то приезжает, слышно абсолютно все, что происходит на улице в любое время суток. В любом случае моя оценка 10 из 10, потому что все перечисленные плюсы с лихвой компенсируют несущественные недостатки. Спасибо!

Would definitely return again to Faahim’s in a heartbeat. The Airbnb really felt like home and all the facilities for my family were great. Faahim and his father are so friendly and we really enjoyed the stay.

Loved the villa! Right on the beach. Spacious. Loved the simple, elegant interiors, and the muted lighting. We all had a great time in the pool by the beach. The speaker is awesome. Jaan was always prompt in responding. And they proactively informed us that we could check out late as they had no booking on that day - thank you Jaan. The local caretaker Gayan, who lives nearby, comes every day to clean the pool and was helpful. He also drives a tuktuk himself. He came to check on us a few times despite his son being unwell - thank you Gayan. There is a supermarket at a walking distance and a restaurant (called A2). The main town, restaurants, touristy shops are less than 3 kms away and tuktuks are very easily available for hire (the pickme app worked like a charm). We stayed during the off season, so it is quite likely that during the peak season, there are beachfront restaurants and bars operational at a walking distance from the villa.

Отличное расположение, просторная квартира, бассейн на крыше с видом на море и тренажёрный зал. В квартире есть всё необходимое. Перебоев со светом не бывает — есть генератор. Отличный быстрый Wi-Fi.

This is my third time staying at Rehan's place. It's great. I'd definitely recommend to others. If I go back to Colombo, I'll try to stay there again.

For the dehiwala apartment review : The apartment was clean and well presented. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the balconies which all have an ocean view. The location was great, the bedrooms and aircon comfortable and the bathrooms were clean & fresh. The hosts were responsive and flexible giving us a late check-out as there was no booking after us. The assistant organised for check-in and check-in was easy to liaise with.

We had a fantastic time at the appartement. The Caretaker as well as Prajot been super helpful and always been reachable for us. The location of the place is perfect starts with going out for food or shopping as well as the fantastic view. We loved being able to use the spacious and clean pool as Colombo gets really hot during the day. Everything has been absolutely great for us and we would surely stay here again.

We had the most wonderful family Christmas at Villa Olu. The villa exceeded our expectations - the photos don’t do it justice! It was the most perfect setting for relaxing, having fun, playing games and not to mention the incredible family meals prepared and cooked by Kumara and Nadi!Experiencing the delicious traditional Sri Lankan cuisine was a huge highlight. Kumara could not do enough to help us - book tuk tuks, arrange massages at the villa and arrange transport. The villa is incredibly peaceful yet only ten minutes from Galle where we enjoyed visiting shops, sites and cafes. We would not hesitate to stay at Villa Olu again, what a super family holiday!

I was privileged to have stayed at 7 Amber as it brought back nostalgic memories of my childhood. The welcome Ravi and Rohini gave me was warm, friendly and typical of Sri Lankan hospitality. On arrival, I found food in the fridge to keep me going for the first couple of days. This helped me to get settled and enjoy the the apartment. The apartment was like a home from home. I felt very relaxed and comfortable. It was spacious, clean and safe. The flat was very well equipped. There was a balcony at the front with a decked area. It was lovely to sit, enjoy a cup of Ceylon tea and listen to the birds. The apartment is an ideal location as it was very central and you could walk to the shops, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants. Ravi and Rohini were very friendly, kind and helpful. They even brought delicious home cooked Sri Lankan food for me on several occasions. I was very sad to leave as I felt I had become part of the family. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Der Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung war rundum super! Die Lage ist ideal – in nur 2–3 Gehminuten ist man am Strand, und in die andere Richtung gelangt man schnell in die Stadt. Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind alle in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Zug hält direkt vor der Haustür, und mit Uber ist man in weniger als 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Die Wohnung selbst ist ruhig, besonders nachts, was für erholsamen Schlaf sorgt. Der Check-in verlief völlig reibungslos, und die Kommunikation mit Shiffan war jederzeit einfach und angenehm. Ein echtes Highlight war der Balkon – abends dort zu sitzen und aufs Wasser zu blicken, war purer Luxus. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wirklich von Herzen weiterempfehlen – wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The Palm Beach Villa was absolutely amazing! Piyal, the house manager, was waiting for us at the airport, and drove us to the Villa, even tho we arrived early in the morning. There was a wonderful breakfast waiting for us upon our arrival. Piyal and Sujami took such great care of us during the day, and Sumith was there all night, which made us feel very safe. We weren't expecting the high level of pampering we received from the 3 of them. It really made our stay truly relaxing. The Villa and grounds are beautiful! The dogs were an added surprise, and were definitely part of the experience :) The pool was heavenly! The beach was right there!!! and was so beautiful and virtually empty! Watching and helping with the morning fishermen was an experience we will never forget! The location is so private, but close enough to many of the island's attractions. Piyal was a gracious host, driver, and AMAZING cook!!! Sujami was so sweet and helpful. Sumith was great! Will def be back!

The flat is on the top floor of an office block. It Is beautifully presented, modern and practical. Deen was very helpful, going over and above to make sure everything was in order. I have no hesitation in recommending this flat for a visit on Colombo

We had a really pleasant stay at VillaMore. The location is ideal for those seeking for a calm place to isolate from the world. The house was very clean and comfortable, the terrase and the yard with a fantastic view to the ocean were our favorite place to hang out. Beautiful sunsets and very nice beach 20 meters from the house. Susan and Ravi were extremely helpful throughout the entire period of arrangement of the trip and the stay. Friendly, responsive and very nice people. Ranjith and Jayanthi living right next door were always there for help. Our family is very grateful for this memorable one week.

We didn't end up staying in this listing as there was maintenance working happening (so stayed in other suite in the same building). So I can't comment on this particular suite. The host was great to communicate with, with clear instructions provided on how to get there. The location was great as well.

Villa Maggona is an absolutely beautiful property with the most amazing staff. Chef prepares fabulous fresh food, Stanley is a lovely person who will always advise and accommodate. A special mention must go to Sumrita who really is the most beautiful, kind soul who goes above and beyond in her role. She really wants her guests time at Villa Maggona to be special. The garden is maintained every day and the pool is beautiful. You won’t find so much as a fallen leaf lying around. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach are very relaxing. The beach is lovely for an evening stroll. We really did find this home to be a haven. One thing to consider is that you do have to have transport to go to a beach with amenities and/or activities. Tuk tuks are readily available, we used the Pickme app which allows you to book and pay cash once your journey is completed. I would definitely go back to VM and can’t imagine anyone not enjoying this beautiful property and the amazing staff working there.

Amazing place to stay! It felt very private and you live practically on the beach! Great sounds of the ocean and the local breakfast was very tastefully. Room was warm even with the two vans. Overall amazing place to stay!
