We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

Unser Aufenthalt in Anjas Unterkunft war großartig! Bereits vor unserer Anreise hat Anja uns mit wertvollen Tipps für unsere Sri-Lanka-Reise versorgt, was uns sehr geholfen und unsere anfänglichen Bedenken genommen hat. Wir konnten gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis früher einchecken und wurden herzlich empfangen. Eranga, der sich um das Haus kümmert, hat uns ein köstliches Mittagessen nach unseren Wünschen zubereitet – ein perfekter Start nach einer langen Reise! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die zwei Zimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügen jeweils über ein eigenes Badezimmer. Wohnzimmer, Küche und Terrasse befinden sich ebenfalls auf einer Ebene. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool geliebt, der eine ideale Größe hat und von wunderschönen Palmen umgeben ist. Wir konnten den Pool ganz privat nutzen. Highlight war die Dachterrasse mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergängen. Wir können Anja's Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles.

The place is amazing It big size front garden backside infinity pool with ocean 20 meters only. The checkin was very smooth and we were greeted with very kind person caretaker. It was my birthday he arranged cake and all necessary items and was very proactive and humble ready to help, he took us in his tuktuk to buy basic groceries and beer. The place is stunning well equipped kitchen,clean bedrooms and hall. The pool was super fresh and was cleaned daily .Nearby we have many supermarkets and restaurants. It perfect for large families who want peace and family time.

We love to stay at this place. Beautifully furnished, a little oasis in busy Colombo. Senerath, the caretaker, is utterly amazing. We always feel very at home.

Мы провели здесь месяц – это почти идеальное место! Интернет идеальный для работы, в т.ч. с видеозвонками. Удобная кровать с новым матрасом. Ванная комната – восторг! Туалет и душ отделены друг от друга, а горячая вода – это действительно горячая вода в безлимитном количестве и с великолепным напором. На кухне есть все, кроме турки для приготовления кофе, но это мелочь. С собаками мы подружились и часто играли. Они действительно лают, но только когда кто-то приходит, что в нашем случае происходило очень редко. Хозяева – прекрасные люди, общаться по всем вопросам было легко и приятно. Между нашими и соседними апартаментами нет шумоизоляции за счет тонкой двери в смежной стене. Мы сняли и эти апартаменты тоже и использовали их как отдельный рабочий кабинет. Когда на виллу кто-то приезжает, слышно абсолютно все, что происходит на улице в любое время суток. В любом случае моя оценка 10 из 10, потому что все перечисленные плюсы с лихвой компенсируют несущественные недостатки. Спасибо!

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

Location is perfect and very convenient to all amnesties. Upeksha is responding very quickly and friendly. Very clean home with nice pool. no parking issues. Prefer to go again and there is no hesitation to recommend this place.

Great place as described in the listing. We faced a long powercut (4hrs) right after we checked in. I believe it was a one time thing. Really like the way he approached the situation. Praba was proactive to inform about the alternatives he can provide. The amenities were of great help as we were in Colombo for a wedding reception

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Gastgeber: unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. This is my second time staying at Lahiru’s place. It was a very pleasant experience. Lahiru and his father were very warm and friendly, and had all amenities mentioned. The layout of the house is luxurious and very pleasant. The place has an attractive jogging path around the lake, and the tranquility that comes with it makes it a pleasant place to stay. If I had to describe the area in a few words, I would say “peaceful environment to live in”. I definitely hope to come back for a third time.

Thevin's place was an absolute delight to be at, has all the amenities you'd need for a stay, and located in a peaceful area away from all sounds and distractions. Thevin was always helpful and went above and beyond in helping us during our 2 nights stay. Easy to find rides via pick me or uber from the area. Would recommend to anyone!

We booked Andy’s property for a colleague visiting from overseas, and she had a wonderful stay. The home was safe, comfortable, and she absolutely loved it. Andy was incredibly helpful and responsive to anything we needed, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable. Noise from construction in the area. A problem during the day not at night. Barking dog in the neighbourhood. Seemed to stop late at night. High vehicular traffic.

This was our second stay at Mayurie’s place, and it truly feels like a second home for our family. The communication was friendly, and the stay was very comfortable. Highly recommended if you're visiting SriLanka for a holiday. It also offers easy access to High-Level Road and plenty of nearby restaurants.

Wir durften 5 wundervolle Wochen bei Maarit und Madhu verbringen und haben jeden Tag dort genossen. Unsere 3 Kids haben sich dort sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und mit dem Mückennetz hat sich unsere Tochter wie in einem Prinzessinbett gefühlt. Die Küche hatte alles was man zum kochen benötigt und der Kühlschrank war schön groß für uns alle. Wir haben besonders viel Zeit auf der tollen Veranda verbracht und den Blick auf das viele Grün genossen. Madhu und Maarit sind super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sie waren für uns immer ansprechbar und hatten tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants. Wir hätten uns alle keine bessere Unterkunft für den Start unserer Reise wünschen können und wären auch sehr gerne noch länger dort geblieben. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

The home is a perfect blend of modern comfort and vintage charm: an open kitchen that inspires, a magnificent dining table that seats eight in style, cozy tree-lined roads, and a calming private aquarium that adds a serene rhythm to the space. Located near Diyatha Uyana, the new Parliament, and just steps from Keells supermarket, the location is convenient yet incredibly peaceful. The lush greenery around the property feels like a private retreat. Wasana herself is a gracious host attentive, kind, of magic ✨

We had a wonderful three night stay at Hemashanthi Latha’s place. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Hemashanthi and her daughter greeted us with warm smiles and a refreshing king coconut, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture. The house was exactly as described. superb, spotlessly clean, and incredibly peaceful. It felt more like a home than just a place to stay. The surroundings were private and serene, making it a perfect escape within the city. All the facilities in the house were well maintained and convenient. We especially appreciated the ample parking space and the ease of coming and going at any hour without any issues. A special mention goes to their lovely dog, who added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. Such a friendly and beautiful furry companion. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, homely spot in the city with a truly great host. Thank you, Hemashanthi, for making our stay so memorable.

Met collega’s verbleef ik in Teal Villa. Dat was een voortreffelijke keuze: we konden vergaderen, presentaties op de TV tonen, hadden ieder een ruime privé slaapkamer met badkamer, konden chillen en zaten praktisch in t centrum van Colombo en toch heel rustig!

The Palm Beach Villa was absolutely amazing! Piyal, the house manager, was waiting for us at the airport, and drove us to the Villa, even tho we arrived early in the morning. There was a wonderful breakfast waiting for us upon our arrival. Piyal and Sujami took such great care of us during the day, and Sumith was there all night, which made us feel very safe. We weren't expecting the high level of pampering we received from the 3 of them. It really made our stay truly relaxing. The Villa and grounds are beautiful! The dogs were an added surprise, and were definitely part of the experience :) The pool was heavenly! The beach was right there!!! and was so beautiful and virtually empty! Watching and helping with the morning fishermen was an experience we will never forget! The location is so private, but close enough to many of the island's attractions. Piyal was a gracious host, driver, and AMAZING cook!!! Sujami was so sweet and helpful. Sumith was great! Will def be back!

Het is een geweldige plek, er ontbreekt je aan niks. geweldige villa. Er is aanalles gedacht. Super schoon, voor ons een plek om weer terug te komen. Contact was geweldig, als er een vraag was werd er gelijk gereageerd. Dit is echt 5 sterren waardig. Fijne rustige buurt en alles binnen loop afstand. Wij komen sinds 2011 in Sri Lanka via hotels en AirBnb, maar dit was de beste plek ooit!

What a gem of an Airbnb! Roshan's newly built house truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean it was. The kitchen is fantastically equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms are wonderfully cozy – perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location is ideal, offering easy access to the main road, which meant restaurants and shops were just a stone's throw away. Roshan is an absolute delight as a host; his responsiveness and genuine care for our comfort were evident throughout our stay. He continuously checked if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. We can't wait to visit again!
