Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Tranquility & Vistas on the Farm in the Guest Barn

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

Highland Hideaway

If you’re looking for peace & quiet, beautiful sunsets, watching wildlife or barges cruise this is your place. Only 20 minutes from Wyalusing or pikes peak state park, The Effigy Mounds (Indian Burial Grounds)and Historic Villa Louis. This beautiful cabin centers you 30 miles from amazing hiking, fishing, hunting and nature for a weekend of disconnecting from busy life.

The Bridge View Studio

Perfect getaway and a perfect location to get to know Elkader with it’s coffee shops, antique mall, shops, opera house and beautiful Turkey River. Property was homesteaded in 1841 and sits directly across from the courthouse and looks over the famous Keystone Bridge and downtown. Come stay awhile. ***NOTE: Because we are located across from the court house the clock tower bells can be heard from our location. Main part of the house is our residence, Airb&b has separate entrance on the side.

Glenwood Getaway

1860's log cabin, remodeled into a modern house. Located 8 miles east of Decorah on 5 acres of woods. Cell service is weak (Verizon, US Cell) or not available (others). WiFi is available. TV with local BluRay/DVD/VHS only - No TV channel service. Come here to get away. The last mile to the house is a gravel road. Main entry is on the 1st (lowest) floor. One bedroom on the 2nd floor. Two bedrooms on the 3rd floor. There is one bathroom on each floor. Stairs to the 3rd floor are steep.

Larsen Farm Secluded Farmhouse with Hotub

Secluded farmhouse with glass hot tub room 600 acres of private trails to hike and explore the cave. Bring your UTV and ride the trails for $30 per driver and $10 per passenger or rent a UTV for $300. Close to trout fishing stream or Mississippi for fishing. Approx 15 miles from Prairie Du Chein, close to canoeing for the Kickapoo, Wisconsin river. Has a gas & charcoal grill, pool table, firepit, Smart TV. Private trails closed Oct 15th thru mid Feb There is Access to public UTV trails.

CR Station Train Caboose

Enjoy the restoration of our charming and cozy caboose! Complete with all the amenities you'll need and more! Linens and towels, refrigerator, microwave, a double burner hot plate, dishes for cooking, barware for cocktailing, and even the original conductor's chairs to watch the sunset over the horse pasture. The Kimball House

Beautiful Victorian home in the heart of Fayette only one block from downtown & Upper Iowa University. Features an updated kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances and family room w/gas fireplace. Formal living room & dining room have original hardwood floors; upstairs has engineered hardwoods. Updated bathroom has double vanity and shower. Downstairs 1/2 bath and laundry room has sink and shower. This charming home has everything you need to make your visit to NE Iowa fantastic!

Cushion Cabins East

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Cabin in the Woods

Rustic cabin surrounded by small timber tract. Very cozy cabin with relaxing space, sleeps 6 guests; 4 beds, 1 Queen & 3 full beds. Quiet and private. You have the entire cabin to yourself. Enjoy the fire pit and feel to walk around the grounds. Close to The Field of Dreams, Mississippi and Maquoketa Rivers. Also, close to Jones and Delaware county fair grounds. You’ll also find that Farley Speedway and Tristate Raceway are minutes away. Nature awaits!!

Hill Top House

Located .5 miles from the Upper Iowa River, Hilltop house has the most perfect view. The house sleeps 8, but we welcome and encourage smaller groups as well. This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

Yellow River Getaway

2 Bedroom cabin with Queen Beds and Queen Sofa sleeper with comfortable mattress if you want to pitch a tent in the yard feel free. Large open living area. with firepit. 170 acres of private property with cell phone service. Nestled in the country on a dead end road. One mile from trout fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding and 8500 acres of Yellow River State Forest.
