What a beautiful home for a family getaway! It surpassed our expectations, and they were high. Sarah and Darren have thought of absolutely everything and it is all top quality and so comfortable. One of my aunties marvelled that her bed was so good, she woke up without the usual aches and pains. Located just up the road from the redwood forest and tree walk, and only a few minutes from town, yet private and quiet, it was a perfect escape. Now we want to stay again during summer to make the absolute most of the fabulous pool and outdoor areas. Highly recommend!

Anna’s spacious tiny home in Rotorua is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and welcomed. The space is beautifully designed—compact yet super comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. The highlight for us was definitely the private spa and sauna, which made the stay feel like a luxury retreat. Everything was spotless, and Anna was a fantastic host—friendly and responsive. Hilary and Rob are fantastic hosts. Hilary is super friendly and accommodating. I simply inquired if there is a microwave at the place to heat up takeaway food (no big deal if there isn’t one), she went out of her way -and bought a brand new one before we checked in. We were amazed by her kindness and effort, we really appreciated it. The place is very peaceful with stunning view, highly recommended! Cool, calm and connected to its stunning setting, this summit-level sanctuary is hidden away, escaping the noise of the world. Perfect space to recharge, almost floating with the clouds. This was honestly the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in – and I’ve travelled to quite a few countries! Kylie and Dan have created such a special place in Kinloch. The indoor-outdoor flow is beautifully done, making you feel connected to the natural surroundings while still completely comfortable. I loved how I had to be present – lighting the fireplace, soaking in the warm outdoor tub – it reminded me of my childhood home. There’s something really grounding and peaceful about that. We actually had plans booked for the evening and the next morning, which we had already paid for – but we ended up cancelling everything because we just wanted to stay in and soak up every moment in this beautiful space. Kylie and Dan were amazing hosts – thoughtful, warm, and accommodating. Their dog and cat came by for a few minutes, and they were just the cutest. We would’ve loved to have them around even more! This place is more than just a stay – it’s an experience. I can’t wait to come back.
