Great location. Clean and tidy with good facilities. Single beds were a bit hard for adults but fine for children.

absolutely perfect spot, it was private and quiet, just what we needed after big days out. we were so happy to be able to take our dog too and was a great amount of space fenced off for him. will definitely book here again

This place was perfect for my family and I for just over a week. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating the place was lovely private well presented and very clean. We love the location near the beach and my daughter especially loved the horses. Highly recommended, we look forward to staying here again.

Tony’s place was perfect for us and our dog, except when our dog locked us out and Tony kindly came to the rescue. Lovely place to stay for anybody visiting beautiful Ohoka and its surrounds.

This was the last place we stayed on a two week holiday and I was hoping I had saved the best until last. I did!! This place was everything I hoped it would be. With extras like full pantry of things if you needed them. We enjoyed every minute of our time here. If you just want to get away from the world and enjoy peace and beautiful views this is the place, even the toilet has a view. Oxford town with nice cafes and small supermarket is just 10mins drive away but you feel there is not another living soul for miles. The night sky is breath taking.

What a beautiful place to spend a couple of nights, it was so warm and cozy, I was worried it might be a little cold but it wasn’t at all! The bed linen was very nice too! Had everything you could need for a couple of night stay. Would definitely come back and stay again 😊

My partner and I stayed at Black barn during King's birthday long weekend, for 2 nights. We really enjoyed our stay here. ☺️ Helen communicated well before and during our stay. We were a bit confused when we arrived as it's a long driveway down passed the letterbox to the barn, but Neil told us where to go which was nice. The barn was how it looked in the photos, and was clean and tidy on arrival. We appreciated the personal touch of chocolates on the bed! The barn is located in a peaceful setting and we loved relaxing in the spa and looking at the stars at night time. ✨ We also liked using the BBQ for our evening meals. The bed is very comfortable and the shower has great water pressure. The outdoor light on the barn near the spa didn't turn on and we couldn't find a switch for it (we suspected it may be automatic) so it was a dark when we were in the spa and eating our meals, not a deal breaker though. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would come again. Thank you!

Such a quiet, peaceful and beautiful place to stay in. The host was very responsive and the the cottage was clean and so comfortable to stay in. It truly felt like home away from home for our family during the whole weekend. We would definitely stay there again for some rest and relaxation in the future!

Max and Steve were exceptional hosts. We were warmly greeted by Digby the dog, Bailey, and three friendly pussycats. We loved walking around the farm to see the chickens, cows, and sheep. The room was cosy and well-equipped with a heat pump, electric blankets, and super comfy sheets. We enjoyed the puzzles, games, and Netflix, and appreciated the many thoughtful touches. A great local restaurant recommendation made our stay even better. There were a few minor issues — some mouse droppings under the sink, a few flies and cobwebs — but fly spray was provided. Also, note the bathroom has a curtain rather than a door, so privacy is limited. We accidentally locked ourselves out but managed to resolve it, and the host responded quickly. Just remember to take the key if you snib the main door! 😄 Overall, a lovely stay with warm hospitality.
