Holiday rentals with beach access in Waipouli Beach

This place was brilliant! I was on vacation in Princeville w/ mom and dad, and this place was exactly what we needed. It was a <10 minute drive from Hanali bay, restaurants, beaches, Hāʻena park shuttle stop. The AirBnB had a nice kitchen w/ enough cooking material to make dinner/breakfast and save a few bucks while visiting the island. We had a nice view of the ocean, and a few hidden trails near our place. Parking was hella easy. I'm def returning to the island, and if the lord be blessed, this AirBnB will be available for booking. :) Shout out to Brooke for communicating recs to us, for being so responsive, and kind throughout our trip.

We’ve stayed in Baby’s Beach area and Koloa before but never at Kuhio Shores. We really enjoyed location and the unit! The stove wasn’t working properly so that was a bummer as it disrupted a couple meals we planned to make but they were very responsive and came to unit to assess situation. We would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Jim’s place. The condo had everything we needed and all that you’d need to have a great beach day (snorkels, umbrella, chairs, towels, etc). Easy check in and free parking. The facility across the road for a pool, outdoor gym, etc., was a nice touch and something we enjoyed utilizing. 10 min walk to the beach and a cute area for dinner, we recommend Keoki’s paradise for drinks. A 5 minute walk to a great breakfast cafe, little fish. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

We only stayed one night, got there pretty late and left very early in the morning. Place was perfect for our needs, easy and flexible check-in, clean, great location. I would stay again if in Kauai.

We had a fantastic stay at Margarette’s place. The grounds are so well maintained by Matt. Always felt so safe and private. Loved using the barbecue under the pergola and enjoying our coffee while enjoying the view of the mountains. The apartment had everything we needed including a whole kitchen which helped us save money on food. Very cozy overall. The neighborhood has a lot of conveniences nearby. Only con is that our apartment backs up to a parking lot just beyond the fence so engine revving and noise did happen late at night. Also lots of chickens, but that’s everywhere. Earplugs generously provided solved that. Stayed at a fair amount of airbnbs and this lists as one of our favorites. Highly recommend and give 5 stars.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights. It has a very beautiful yard. Was spotless inside and near all the North Shore attractions. Adam was very pleasant to talk with. Would definitely stay again.

A wonderful stay for our young family! Stay was well kept and as pictured. We loved the walk ability to beautiful beaches and access to the Athletic Club. The area is unmatched and the A/C wonderful. Bonus: the kid amenities. It doesn’t go unnoticed that Shaun and his wife are parents and took the time to think of the little things. Little fish is a definite bonus across the street! We hope to be back. As hotel owners ourselves we would highly recommend this stay.

We had such a great time here! The location in Kapa’a is perfect—right in the middle of the island, so it was easy to explore both the north and south shores and Waimea Canyon. The nearby Coconut Marketplace is convenient, and I recommend the Tuesday and Thursday farmers market in the parking lot. We grabbed local produce, bread, and butter mochi, and the kitchen was just the right size for making fresh meals. The place was clean, nicely updated and cozy and comfortable home base. We slept well. Allen was super friendly and responsive leading up to our trip, and even gave us a quick call to make sure everything was going well. We also appreciated having beach chairs, a cooler, umbrella, and even a cart—it made beach days super easy. As a younger couple, we loved the slower pace and small-town feel of Kauai after being in Honolulu for a wedding. Nothing felt too far away, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a cozy and convenient spot. We would book again!

Extra points for that beautiful view from the main bedroom (rainbows every day) and the shower is excellent! We had a great stay at the „little red haus“. Clark was great and always helpful at communicating everything. Very uncomplicated check-in and -out. Mahalo 🌺

An incredible, private and comfortable detached Ohana in a beautiful neighborhood. Conveniently located and walkable to numerous shops, restaurants and the ocean (beaches). We met the owners-sweet, cheery and kind people. Thank you both!! Shaka to you both!! We would definitely stay again in the future. :-) Aloha & Mahalo!!

Devaki was such a sweet and awesome host. Perhaps the best location in Hanalei Bay. 100 foot walk to beach and less than a quarter mile walk to town.

Enjoyed the most mellow and relaxing vacation with my adult children. We walked daily on the great pathway and took in the blue ocean and the peaceful setting. The neighborhood was quiet and what I expected. We enjoyed eating at all the wonderful local places within a casual 20 minute walk. It was rainy this time of the year so sometime we just stayed and chilled in the awesome living room. The house is old so it has its charms but it felt like going to a beach house. There are plenty of windows and we slept with them open and it was very windy at night so we didn’t miss the a/c at all. We are from the Pacific Northwest, my son said he was surprised that 72 degrees could feel so cold and it was funny to see him wear his puffy jacket at times. Anyone staying here in the spring should probably bring a jacket because the wind and moisture can make it feel a lot colder than it should be due to being right next to the ocean. This is an excellent location overall.

We couldn’t have asked for anything else! This place was stocked with everything to enjoy your Kauai vacation. The garage had lots of things to go out and use at the beach and around Princeville. The house was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for! Amy was awesome and extremely accommodating and responsive. We would 100% stay here again!! Thanks🌺

My sisters and I loved this place. Ingrid is great, quick to respond and very helpful. The location is beautiful, very close to great beaches and snorkeling. The beach is just across the street and always empty giving one the feel of having a private beach. Great views from the dining room so we often ate dinner at home after being gone for the day. Close to a great little coffee shop-The Haven. We look forward to going back!

Our family felt right at home, thanks to Donna! It was comfortable and clean, and really ended up being exactly how she described! We will definitely reach out to Donna next time we're coming to Kauai!

Natalie’s home is the perfect place to stay and explore Kauai’s North Shore. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood and the backyard feels like your own lush, private retreat to relax after a long day of snorkeling and paddle boarding. I can honestly say this is the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Tons of attention to every detail. The care that was put into this home shows. It was more than enough space for our family of six. Every beach and activity supply we could have asked for was in the garage and in great shape. Beach umbrellas, chairs, a wagon, footballs, beach towels, straw hats, snorkeling gear, everything. We also used the bikes to cruise around the neighborhood and run to Foodland for groceries or a poke bowl. If you’re looking for the absolute best spot for home base in Princeville, this should be your place. Natalie was quick and easy to communicate with and she also has lots of helpful tips for food, beaches, etc. We can’t wait to visit again!

This was one of the best and most accomodating stays we've had. Carla is so responsive and everything is so well stocked--she truly thought of everything! Typically, I bring laundry/dish detergent and paper products with us but this was completely unnecessary as she was very generous with the provisions-which is great if you're travelling from far to Kauai like we were. She also had toys, baby equipment, boogie boards, beach/pool towels, tennis racquets (literally everything) to make our stay perfect! Although there were only 5 of us staying in Lae Nani, we had a total of 13 family members on our trip and they were able to enjoy the premises as well. Our place became the "hub" for swimming, family meals, and of course many memories that we will Cherish forever. I would highly recommend!

We loved our stay! Summer’s place was clean and the perfect size for my husband and I. She had snorkel gear, boogie boards, and extra toiletries that really helped us! We also loved all the recommendations she gave us on what to do. The area was private but walkable to restaurants and the beach!

The view from the Airbnb is fantastic. This was our first time in Kauai and I couldn’t decide if we wanted to stay in the north side or south side. Staying in Kapaa allowed us to visit the rest of the island easily, and there are plenty of restaurants and activities to explore immediately next to the Airbnb. Having beach chairs and umbrellas to bring to the beach is so nice! While we didn’t cook any meals, the kitchen is a full kitchen and would have been easy to eat meals in. We stayed in April and didn’t use the window AC in the bedroom. Highly recommend!

Clean, simple stay with everything you need — very central location close to many great restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We were very happy with our stay!

Lovely condo in Kapa’a with a short walk to the beach where you can watch the sunrise. Spacious living room, good kitchen, nice bedroom and bathroom. Great, responsive hosts!

Such a sweet and responsive host! Location was amazing, literally steps away from the beach. Water slide 10/10. Totally recommend!!
