With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

The view doesn’t get any better than up here. This amazing space with mountain views offers the perfect artistic retreat, or just a tranquil getaway. There is a king single bed in the loft, or the couch opens out to a very comfy double bed. Double glazing and a wall heater ensures a cosy nest. Help yourself to veggies in the garden and any fruit that is ready in the orchard. Separate kitchen with cooking facilities and everyone’s favourite is the tropical feel outdoor shower and bath - bliss!

A cute wee cottage for a hideaway. Surrounded by trees and bird life in a peaceful setting. The Motueka River is a 5 min walk. We have a sculpture garden and gallery on site showcasing the work of David Carson and other artists. Free entry to our guests. Birch Hill Cottage is the original Head Shearer’s Cottage from c1900. It has been fully renovated & is a wonderful spot to come to unwind and completely relax. We have planted 100's of trees and are working on establishing a garden paradise over the 13 years we have owned the property. We are continuously upgrading the cottages & land.
