Inside the cottage, you'll find a convenient kitchenette equipped with a small fridge, microwave, convection oven, hobs, and a toaster. Experience our bespoke, solar powered cabin, rustic but surrounded by nature. With an outdoor bath, ( not hot tub) overlooking the river. This private area is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with yourself. Wear covering clothing outdoors for insects 15 minutes from Hobbiton, close to Te Waihou Blue spring and Waiwere falls. Arriving at night, follow the solar lights. Dogs are welcome but no aggressive dogs. Please take your waste with you, we have don’t have bins in rural areas.

A deliberately different, John Henderson designed, slightly quirky B & B in Bethlehem, Tauranga - situated next door too, and run by the owners of Somerset Cottage, a long established restaurant and cookschool. You are always welcome to join us at the restaurant on one of the nights we're open - Wednesday to Saturday ( bookings tend to be necessary), or we can bring a restaurant meal over to you in the Studio if you'd prefer to dine in private. You'll love this unique and romantic escape.

The Tiny Farmhouse is situated on our dairy farm just 10 minutes drive from Te Aroha. With rustic charm and views of open farmland, the Kaimai ranges and Mt Te Aroha it really is a place to relax and unwind from the busyness of life. If you love the outdoors then this is the place for you, we are located close to the Hauraki Cycle Trail and within close proximity of lots of amazing bush walks including Waiorongomai Valley, Wairere Falls and Mt Te Aroha summit.

"The Old Church" Boutique Accommodation

Our wonderful home is a converted Catholic Church, built in 1954 which we were lucky enough to buy in 1996. It offers a unique and special stay, full of character with a peaceful atmosphere. A great place to spend time relaxing or exploring the beautiful area we live in. To add to this, Café 77 is situated right across the road in what was once the old derelict Manawaru Dairy Factory. They are open from 8 am to 3 pm daily and we can highly recommend!
