Downtown River~view, 20th floor, gym, free parking

Would book again! Being on the 20th floor provided amazing view of the city and of the river thanks to the huge windows facing both downtown and the river as well as the wrap around balcony and rooftop patio access. We we were close to the river paths and easy to access the main of the downtown as well as easy to access the university/university hospital if that's what you're booking for. Extremely minor things to note; one bed was soft and the other firm (great if you have a preference). I would recommend bringing your own pillows if you prefer firmer ones. the sink tap in the bathroom would randomly go hot (but I don't think that's an owner issue more of a building issue; shower temp. and pressure were great though). There were extra blankets scattered around the apartment if you needed which was fantastic (under the TV stand, on the bedroom dressers). The fans in each bed room and indoor air conditioning was perfect while there was smoke in the air for a day due to a fire nearby.

We had the best time in such a simple, beautiful spot. Being surrounded by nature made everything feel so calm and easy, like the rest of the world just disappeared for a while. It was honestly very much needed.. The experience was peaceful, pure, and something I’ll never forget.

We had a great time at Kim & Mike's place, and they were wonderful hosts. They came to our rescue a couple of times, once with shovels, and another with butter! Talk about hospitality! The space is unique and cozy, and the fireplace in front of the massive sofa was such a joy in the dark of winter. You can tell the place (and everything on the property that we saw) was put there with love and attention. Also, count all of the horseshoes inside! Their place is a great getaway to lose the tech, get into quiet nature, and to admire the rolling prairie.

Monique's stay was just what we needed! I booked this for a book retreat with friends because of the beautiful sunroom, and it did not disappoint! We spent 75% of our time in that sunroom listening to the birds and the rain; it was incredibly peaceful! The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra linens, blankets, and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The cabin is a cabin, and so the sunroom was dusty and had some bugs both dead and alive, that is to be expected when renting a cabin in nature. The rest of the home was fairly clean. The only thing that caught us off guard was the quality of the water. The listing did not mention that the water is not potable; however, Culligan was provided and refilled for us for drinking use. The toilet did not flush with ease, and washing dishes was tough. All in all it is a more rustic stay, but I gladly look forward to returning to this cozy, stylish cabin! Thank you, Monique, for allowing a flexible check-in time.

Really enjoyed my stay at this lovely, welcoming flat. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged with all the essentials provided — it really felt like a home away from home. The host was super easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

She was very helpful when it came to me asking questions about the place. An amazing stay, very quiet and peaceful and you can walk around to places that are located around. Had a couple items at the airbnb for people who are staying there to use and even some board games and cards. I enjoyed my experience very much and would definitely rent from again if I ever visit!
