Conveniently located near restaurants and gas stations, it's also an easy 8 minute walk to the city park and city pool (Pool opens during summer months) Pets are welcome to stay! Be sure to experience the unforgettable sunrises and sunsets over the Badlands.

Lakota Tipi on Badlands Ranch

Experience a slice of traditional Lakota lifestyle in this authentic tipi. This Sioux style tipi is 14 feet in diameter and 10 feet at the peak. Guests in this tipi will be immersed in the natural elements. It's not for the faint of heart! The tipi sits on a level grassy area with surrounding trees and a picnic table. We recommend that our tipi guests bring everything they would need for a camping trip - except for the tent, of course! **Please thoroughly review house rules before booking.

Cabin 13

Weekend travelers: Park on street next to Cabin. On Friday or Saturday nights we have events under the event tent on the lot that go past midnight (Check Wakin' Bacon FB page for dates). Wakin' Bacon food truck is available onsite. This cozy cabin is located in the heart of Wall only 8 miles from the Badlands. Find refuge in a comfortable space while exploring the Badlands, the Black Hills, and all SD has to offer. This one room cabin is spacious and inviting as it was recently remodeled.

The tiny house of Wasta with lots of character

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

The Rock and Block house

This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. We are about 20 miles from the Badlands, 40 miles from Rapid City, and Beautiful Black Hills. Thank You, Billie

Cozy Cottage

Cozy Cottage is the perfect place to relax after a day of traveling. Kadoka is a TINY (population 600) safe and quiet town on the edge of the Badlands. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from Rapid city/Black Hills. We are a rural community so eating out is limited to subway and gas station food. Please keep this in mind as you travel!

Located a block away from the local bar and restaurant. This space is right across the street from the park if you have kids and want them to stay active during your stay! The student run grocery store is a short walk a way and has all the goodies and amenities you would need during your stay.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Across from City Park and walking distance to City Pool, restaurant and bar, and golf course.
