Holiday houses in Wapello County

Within a 20 mins drive of Albia, Ottumwa, and Oskaloosa — it was the perfect location for us! Eddyville is quaint and private, loved staying here to visit family and my two little ones LOVED the playground just across the street! We always stayed with my family in previous years, but with our family growing we needed somewhere to ourselves — this was PERFECT for us, and at an incredible price. We can’t wait to visit again!

I booked Kelly's listing for my son and his family, who were coming to Ottumwa from the East Coast to visit for the holidays. The location was excellent and the house was set up really well for them. There are lots of large windows, giving much light in the open concept-formatted kitchen/living room. The two large islands gave plenty of seating and counter space. Kelly was very fast to respond to any questions we had. She and Jason went above and beyond to make sure their stay was a success. Her instructions were very thorough. We would absolutely book her place for other family members if and when they would come to Ottumwa to visit.

This was a great little spot to stay close to downtown Ottumwa. The loft is comfortable, clean, and the couch was super cushy. Wireless entry was easy, and walkable to Main Street with cool local shops if you don’t mind the hills.

Ron’s place was great! We were in town visiting family and this was perfect for the 3 of us! Close to everything, quiet, so clean and like everyone says, the AC works great, which we needed since it was 95 out. We will definitely be staying here the next time we’re in town!

We came to visit family and start de summer away from the very busy Bay Area in California. This was our very first time at Ottumwa and this place was perfect after long days of exploring and walking around. The town has this amazing vibe and it’s so peaceful. We also visited other towns around and kind of felt in love with Iowa. My kids had a great time! The house has everything you need, although we pretty much just came to sleep, shower and have a late night snack. This house is pet friendly and while we didn’t have our furry companion we know our little guy would of loved it. We ended up changing our departure and Bryce had a fast turnaround. We’ll definitely consider this place again if we have to come to Ottumwa again.
