Rural Dorset Retreat

SandraRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Couldn't begin to do justice here with how stunning the house and location are. The accessible bedroom and bathroom are the best we've ever had for my husband's complex needs (he has MND and is in a wheelchair). Victoria is very kind and responsive, a superb host. We were left a really great welcome pack, too! Would love to return.

The Beech Hut

SarahRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We simply loved the beech hut for a NYE escape from the madness. The hut itself is just perfect. Everything you could need all fitted in to the lovely space. The attention to detail and hotel standard bedding was a real treat. Although compact it is so well set out and the shower was lovely. Being able to see and listen to the birds, the stream and the weather from the bed was idyllic. It was everything I wanted and more. Was sad to leave. We will be back in the summer although we had great weather and enjoyed walking the coast at lulworth and Bridport/west bay with lunch at the hive. Thanks Judy for a perfect stay.

Lanes End Cottage

The pictures don’t do it justice. This is a beautiful cottage in a peaceful and gorgeous setting. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are pristine. The kitchen is very well stocked and the welcome hamper was a great surprise. Would recommend definitely!

Casterbridge, a single story barn conversion

AusraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely long weekend stay at this beautiful accommodation. It was clean, tidy, and nicely decorated. Christine and Paul, the owners, were very welcoming. We were greeted with a lovely hamper that included bread, milk, and delicious marmalade! Everything we needed was provided. It's a very quiet location, which made for a peaceful stay. We can definitely recommend it. We also explored the surrounding areas in Dorset, and our son enjoyed playing swing ball with the boys staying next door.

Unique hideaway in Dorset AONB

SilviaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great base for anything you wish to do in this area. Well appointed, private location that served 2 families with 2 small children. Dorchester just 15 mins away so handy for stocking up on essentials. All the stuff you’re likely to need is provided such as pots, pans, cutlery and utensils; toaster, kettle, hairdryer and hot water on demand in the kitchen and bathroom. Very quirky upstairs master bedroom with open plan living space and huge log burner. Very comfortable beds and shuttered windows for a very peaceful night’s sleep. Lovely touch of treats, coffee and milk provided gratis on arrival. This served our families whilst we attended a family wedding in the area and was an absolutely fantastic base. Hope we have call to return and wouldn’t even consider looking elsewhere knowing what the barn offers. Thanks for a great stay!

A charming one bedroom guesthouse nr Maiden Newton

SamanthaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely place to relax and unwind just what we needed. Enjoyed the outside seating area, both by the bedroom in the morning with first sun and then later in the day at front of the property. Shall miss the birds singing. All kitchen facilities at hand; plenty of hand-wash, washing up liquid and this continued in the bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The train did pass behind the place but we didn't mind it. Bed was very comfortable and slept well. Overall very happy and pleased with our stay.

Modern & spacious house in the countryside.

KarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Like many others, this isn’t our first time visiting Andrew’s home. It has always stood out as one of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed. A modern, stylish retreat in beautiful quiet countryside surroundings. It has all of the amenities you can ask for and is super close to loads of great places to eat. A foodies heaven. Andrew is a fantastic host. Really communicative and super helpful. We’d love to return again!

The Sunday Schoolroom

JonathanRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a great time staying in the Sunday Schoolroom, it was cosy and quirky and very enjoyable. There is some great art work and lots of other interesting things about the Sunday Schoolroom, we loved the starry sky in the bedroom! Martin was very friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit and telling us about things going on in the village. Thoroughly recommended.
