Holiday rentals with a kayak in Warren County

great place w lots of space for everyone. ac blew cold except when power was out - however, communication w Patti was stellar sooo much stuff to do you don't even need to leave the house. we had a very peaceful and relaxing time. ty so much for the wonderful place and hospitality

Perfect bnb for a large group and family friendly. We had two kids age 2 and 6 and they loved the bunk bed. There was plenty of room and the house was well stocked with necessary items. Michael was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. Overall a great stay and amazing location for a weekend getaway.

Mark has a well kept dedicated rental on their massive, gorgeous, very private property. The perfect getaway- plenty of room, super clean, very well equipped, a beautiful view from every window, and lots to do! I especially enjoyed the view from the office just because it made getting some work done much more pleasant. The decor is a tasteful mix of modern & antique. Looks like new flooring, carpet, window dressings, lighting, towels, etc. I prefer using a dedicated rental over using someone's residence so appreciated the evident extra effort they make for guests. Loved the hiking trails into the woods & the creek, the fire pit, and the huge grill. Oh- and the stars seem so close you could almost reach up and touch them! Great stay overall. Loved it. Mark is an awesome host, friendly & responsive.

This is our third stay, and we will return. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and lots of room for our dogs to run (and swim!). We love birdwatching and feeding the fish and turtles in the pond. We had a lot of rain this time around, but the place was well-stocked with games and puzzles. The furniture is very comfortable and love the new beds in the second bedroom.

This was our second stay. We stayed here last year to attend a family function and enjoyed it so much we made sure to reserve the house for this year's event. Host was super nice, proactive and quickly responded to my questions. It was such a peaceful site, we saw all sorts of animals and the back porch is a wonderful place to relax. The river is a walkable distance, and stores were only about 15 minutes away. It's a lovely house and location.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. My kids enjoyed kayaking on the lake. The house was quiet and yet not too far from where we needed to be. Will definitely come back if in the area.

The cottage was so beautiful and had so much to do. The karaoke machine was a favorite for my kids. My family also enjoyed the hot tub. James was extremely helpful and so kind. I love that this cottage has so much rich family history. I absolutely loved the pictures around the house of James Great -Great Grandmother whom the cottage was named after, plus other family heirlooms.

The property is beautiful! Inside and out are decorated perfectly. So many cute little surprises. Barbara thought of everything. Very relaxing.

The house was set up with everything a family could want. The beds were comfortable. The 4 outside sitting areas and huge dining table gave everyone room to hang out. Maddy had lots of board games and even a bag game that the kids had room to play in the family room. The grill/smoker was a wonderful surprise, too. We will book again.

We absolutely loved out stay. It was so spacious and wonderful for family to come together under one roof. We were there for my son's wedding and the place was so comfortable. Fun place, a nice walk down the road a few times, comfortable beds, very clean, Kim was communicative, she brought us cookies, saw lightning bugs, owls, and farm animals. Just the best time, it wasn't long enough. If you are contemplating staying here just do it. You will be so happy you did. Love the scripture and quotes throughout the home. :). we had a great time at H&M retreats! We rented the entire property for a family gathering and it was perfect for our group. The main building is set up well for dining and hanging out and the cabins are cozy and well laid out. Everything was very clean and the property is very peaceful.

Jeff provided a peaceful, clean, and comfortable space to retreat to for a couple days. We felt right at home! We appreciated Jeff’s kindness and great communication.

Cool, brand new cabins and we loved the lake and surrounding woods.
