Located in the heart of the country, Oakbrook Akers Cabin is an absolute retreat! Relax on the many porches overlooking the lake, take time to meander to the docks to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Built by my father, we hope you cherish your time spent here just as our family has.

The Quaint Loft in the Lake Linda Barn w/swimspa

This loft in a quaint country barn offers balcony views of a sunrise over the meadow straight from your master bedroom or a sky filled with endless stars. The second bedroom offers a full size bed with additional overhead bunk. DISH T.V., WiFi, a well stocked kitchen, and ingredients for a country breakfast of eggs, toast, butter and coffee or tea are provided...all in rural America about 9 miles from historic Carthage, IL and approximately 25 miles from Nauvoo, IL or 25 miles from Macomb, IL.

Captains Quarters Treehouse

An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

Located 1½ miles north of Keokuk, nestled on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the Tree of Life River retreat is located in a cozy, private, walk-out lower level (with hosts living above). Mermaid Cabin on the Mississippi River

Come stay at our cute cabin on the Mississippi River. Small one room cabin has everything you need for the perfect getaway, including a beach! Full size bed in the curtained off bedroom area, plus bunk bed, and two couches provide plenty of space to crash after a long day exploring the outdoors. Sleeping loft located above the bedroom area can be used for extra kid sleeping area. Full bath and kitchen with basic supplies will make you feel almost like home.

Nauvoo with a country view

We welcome guests to our 1880 Sonora Town Hall Cottage. This building once served as a voting poll for the Sonora Township. It is now a beautiful boutique cottage for overnight guests staying in the Nauvoo area. We are located on a working grain farm 6 miles southeast of Nauvoo. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located hotel like suite on the Hamilton River Road. Private entrance from the back orchard deck along with a private entrance onto the front river side deck. Suite consists of king bed and twin pull out.
