4 bedroom homely nest in Robin Hood country

Full use of my lovely modern home, with 4 bedrooms (3 double, 1 single), en-suite and newly refurbished family bathrooms, lounge, kitchen/diner, downstairs toilet and garden. It is a lived in house; therefore, it is like staying at a friend's whilst they are on holiday. It is not a luxury lodge. It's within 15-20 mins drive from Mansfield and Worksop. Chesterfield, Sheffield and Nottingham less than an hour. Sherwood Forest is less than 10 mins drive, with lots of nice walks in the vicinity.

An ideal location to visit the surrounding areas, ie Welbeck Abbey, Sherwood Forest, Cresswell Craggs. Our barn conversion consists of 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, walk-in shower, bath. Second toilet. Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and an American fridge/freezer. Small dog accepted by prior negotiation. Parking for 2 cars. Although close to A60, country walks are within walking distance. Walk across the road to the Carrs Nature Reserve and park - see photos.

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
