3 bedroom spacious lodge set in a private 22 acre park with FREE SECURE PARKING. Newbury Racecourse is on one side of the park and Crookham Golf course on the other. Living and dining areas in the lodge are open-plan with vaulted ceilings and panoramic views are through 2 sets of bi-fold doors. A built-in fire safe BBQ is attached to the outside decking (no other BBQ's can be used). Hot tub is not in use. Guests use mobile phones, create a hot spot for Wi-Fi. Not really suitable for infants.

Stylish rural retreat close to popular restaurant

This cosy, bright and colourful country bolt-hole is a newly converted stable block in the grounds of a listed home in the charming hamlet of Westbrook. A luxurious superking bed and great WiFi means you'll have everything you need for a relaxing break in the countryside. From the Michelin-starred Woodspeen to Hungerford's antique shops there's plenty to do and see with wonderful walking and cycling on the doorstep. The village's popular new restaurant, The Boxford, is a 4-minute walk.

The Hayloft, a spacious and charming period barn

The Hayloft is a stunning, converted early 19th century barn with old wooden beams and period charm. It sits in the pretty village of Hurstbourne Tarrant in the heart of the Test Valley surrounded by beautiful countryside providing walks on the famous Test Way. There are some great local pubs close by. Stonehenge, Highclere Castle and the Bombay Sapphire Distillery are all near, as well as the quaint market towns of Stockbridge and Hungerford and the ancient cathedral city of Winchester.

Home in Newbury / Hampshire / Berkshire

Our home is perfect for relaxing with the whole family or a group of friends, situated in the village of Newtown, with a pub opposite. There is plenty to do, Newbury is within a couple of miles, with fantastic rail routes / only 39 minutes to London. The stunning market town Hungerford is a 15 minute drive, with antique shops, cafes, pubs and walks along the canal. Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey was filmed is a 10 minute drive away. There are multiple walks around us in AONB.

A lovely self-contained annex furnished to a high standard in a quiet rural location on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, close to Newbury and Oxford and walking distance to Highclere Castle, where Downtown Abbey was filmed. Secluded garden area with seating and BBQ for outdoor dining. The annexe is completely separate from our house with its own entrance and there's an allocated parking space. Well behaved dogs are always welcome and there are some lovely walks on our doorstep.

Within 5 minutes drive of Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) set in the North Wessex area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of a dark sky area. Close to Newbury, 1 hour to Oxford, Windsor, Bath, Winchester and Stonehenge. London 1 hour by train from Newbury Station 15 minutes away. There are a variety of places to eat close by ranging from cosy pubs to fine dining restaurants. Vine Annex sleeps 4 one king sized double, one single and one small single in twin room.

Decoration & furnishings are contemporary with antiques added for an eclectic touch. The property has secure dog friendly gardens. The peaceful get away from it all feeling is more usual in a village setting. The train station is a level 10 minute walk as is the town centre, the local pub a 4 minute stroll.
