Cabin holiday rentals in Washburn County

This is our second year staying at the Wooden Spoon Lodge and we enjoyed it even more. It is the perfect cabin for a peaceful, beautiful vacation. The water is clear and view of the lake is incredible. Will definitely stay again. Thanks Wendy!

We had an amazing weekend! The dual properties accommodated our large family between the two cabins. The kids loved paddle boating and fishing. There was room to do everything, along with enjoying the lakeside view. The fire pit areas were also able to accommodate all of us.

Chelsea was a very responsive host. The cabin is exactly as described with plenty of activities to do. We had a great time there and would stay here again. Thanks for the opportunity!

My family and I go on an annual getaway and it can be challenging to find a good place that is affordable to comfortably host 15, look no further than this destination. The “cabin” (mansion) is enormous and yet feels like a cozy cabin getaway. There are large rooms for eating together, relaxing on the two-level covered walk-around decks, or fishing, swimming and kayaking off the new dock into crystal clear water. Seriously an amazing place and the host is very considerate and accommodating!!! Will likely come back again next year!

We had a short, but nice stay at Lynn’s place. Worked great for our stay in Hayward. Would definitely rebook next time we are in Hayward!

The place was gorgeous. We had a great time, but wish we had more time to spend at the cabin. The cabin was wonderful and truly met our needs. We would consider coming back for a longer period of time

The cabin was just like it is in the pictures. We had plenty of parking for two trucks and trailers. The cabin is right off the ATV trails and has a beautiful view of the lake. Our kids wanted to swim so we took them to the boat launch/swim beach that is in walkable distance from the cabin. The cabin has ample yard space as well if you’re needing to let dogs out. We would definitely rent again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Cindy’s gorgeous cabin! We went for my birthday celebration with my mother and our dogs. Cindy was very accommodating, helpful, friendly and responsive. Her log cabin was just magical, with the snow falling outside and the beautifully decorated interior. It was exactly what I had in mind. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Host reached out and made sure we understood everything we needed to know before we checked in. Our group had a peaceful gathering and the quite, beautiful location really contributed to that experience.

Right away I was super impressed with the communication. All the information was laid out and easy to understand. We loved the cabin and its location. We were comfortable and enjoyed every part of our stay. We played games (indoor/outdoor), enjoyed a couple bonfires, had family dinners in the dining nook, went on walks in the area and spent some time in Spooner (eating and shopping.) It was nice to have a simple coffee maker. The kitchen had plenty of items for cooking. We brought up homemade chili and heated it up in a pot, made eggs every AM and one night we used their grill. Plenty of kitchen items! The property is beautiful. I loved relaxing while my husband went fishing with our children. My husband and dog met the neighbor and said he was really nice. I LOVED the stores in Spooner. The host had information about local establishments; thank you! Towels, extra blankets and bedding were perfect too! Everything was clean and cute decor:) Definitely recommend.

We wanted a weekend getaway to take our young boys fishing for their first time and this certainly fit the criteria. We were unlucky with not so great weather while we were there so didn’t fully get to enjoy the outdoors like we wanted to but we toughed it out to fish anyways and they sure were biting! We caught several pan fish, one walleye, and one big bass. The home was very nice and well kept with plenty of indoor entertainment to keep us busy.

Had a great stay! Beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful near the end of a dead end road so very little traffic. Boat landing is very close by which made it easy to get the boat we brought in and out, bait shop has a nice selection of necessities if you need a few staple grocery items and bait. Nice dock available at the cabin to park. Beautiful views of the lake from the living room and master bedroom. The cabin was kid and pet friendly which was perfect for our family. Nice fire pit outside with comfy seating. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

We went for our anniversary, and absolutely loved it. I wanted something quiet but close to activities and other communities. Will say again and bring the family next time.

My family had an excellent time at Tim's place on Red Cedar Lake! Our kids enjoyed using the kayaks. His home is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures, we didn't want to leave! If you have any questions, Tim is a very attentive host. Fishing on Red Cedar Lake was great! We enjoyed fishing off his dock just as much as taking the pontoon out for a spin!

We loved this cabin! The lake was great for swimming and kayaking, and the cabin was cozy and cute. We loved exploring all of the great hikes nearby, too!

We keep coming back because it’s such a beautiful, relaxing, and forest immersive setting with its own lake and a wonderful dock to fish from! Wildlife abounds from turkeys, deer, birds, and a beaver family.

The management company responded to my questions so fast! It was a very nice place to stay on Long Lake with a great location!

We were not disappointed. This was the perfect place for us to stay at as we went to Spooner for the train ride. There were 6 of us (3 married couples) and we had plenty of space and never felt like we were cramped or in each other's way. The communication with the owners was awesome. We all felt we made the right choice as it took us awhile to find a place we felt would be perfect. This was the place. My husband even caught several fish in the lake. If you book this, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect place for a getaway. Our second time staying here and we will be back again. Owner was very responsive and helpful making sure we were plowed out early when it snowed. Beautiful view and felt like home.

Jim was flexible and helpful, even calling in a neighbor when my van got stuck in the snow.
